I suffered a massive stroke 2years ago it came from nowhere I was at work just walking it hit me I fell to ground and couldn’t pick myself back up, I laid on the floor for 5 hours before someone found me it’s only by the grace of god that I survived my, after 5 hours I finally received medical treatment it’s been 2 years I’m still unable to use my left arm , or walk at the moment that is all about to change very soon , my god will bring me complete restoration breakthrough in July, he will be glorified through my healing

Eat healthy & exercise will help minimize the risk. If you need to lose weight do I it. Prevent it from happening to you. It's easier than dealing with a stroke, heart attack or an aortic discection. Trust me I've had them all. I'm one of the lucky ones.

My (long since deceased) paternal grandmother had a massive stroke that made the entire right side of her body useless. She ended up living the last 23 years of her life needing around-the-clock care. My family was never truly certain if her cranky and grouchiness was the result of serious brain damage, as pre-stroke she was a positive go-lucky lady. Whenever I think of her, its scary that it is possible that can happen to me.
I just turned 25 July 15th I had a stroke The day after Christmas. I got put into an induced coma missed New Years I had 2 brain surgeries and was fighting pneumonia at the same time!!! It took about a day for them to realize I was having a stroke. It happened bc my artery split in my neck from being hit in it by accident. I had to relearn how to walk and use my left arm and hand I’m still re learning I use to be a lefty . I use to be very talented at basketball too. Multi talented. I practice basketball everyday . Learning to dribble and control the ball with my left had 500 dribbles everyday and I try to run everyday. My hand is nowhere near where it used to be. But the more I work on it the better it gets. I’m going to start using my left hand to do everything soon. And I wanna be one of the first to be able to get perfectly normal off a stroke recovery so we can cut the fear of not being the same out after surviving the stroke. There’s so much I wanna do and sometimes I do fear I won’t be able to be the dare devil I was before but life wouldn’t be life if I didn’t give it my all. And be one who wants to overcome anything that thinks it can defeat me. I’m getting better slow to me bc I know what I was capable of ... but fast to everyone else. They call me a miracle child too. I say we all are. If your reading this and you had a stroke and survived your a miracle and you can be perfectly fine again if you just work at it and focus . Oh and she lied about the brain not healing itself because the brain has neuroplasticity look it up. Out of repetition your unaffected side will start to assist your affected side. I’ve been doing my research I hope people see this, because I’m serious about getting back to normal. I’m not going out like this. Your not either I promise you.
I had 2 stroke back to back the first one was 2015 going to 16 and i lost all speech and not being able to feel my right side of my body I was in the hospital for 2 month and I gained some of my speech back , then 12 days after I left the hospital I got a second stroke that was the worst one I was depressed. I went thru the same process. Its been 1 yr since I had my strokes and I'm still gaining my speech back is got better but still not 100% gained I'm in the 80's% but I suffered from two strokes and I'm thankful for God.
How are you doing today? Fully recovered? 🙏 🙏 I’d like to ask you a few questions if you don’t mind. Does having a stroke hurt? And does any of the recovery hurt? Also, did your brain function the same way after having it in terms of awareness, sense of humor, were you fully aware of everything going on but just couldn’t speak? Do you just become paralyzed, but still have the same mindset? Feel free not to answer if you’re not comfortable.
I had a Health teacher whose wife passed away from a stroke. He told us the story about her death as well. He was coaching a track team after school when one of the administrators pulled him aside. He said that a family friend had called, and that his wife was being hospitalized for a stroke. She was alone in the house when it happened. A friend came to visit and thought it was unusual that she wouldn't open the door despite her car being in the driveway. Luckily she investigated. His daughters were a part of our school volleyball team, and he took the two of them to the hospital. He called his eldest, his son, who was on his way home from work, to meet them at the hospital. He had to talk him into pulling over in order to collect himself, because he was frantically driving to the hospital, and was worried he might crash. He said he remembered his youngest daughter (I believe a freshmen) was hugging his waist so tight. They were all terrified, but he knew he had to be the one to keep them together. She had survived her stroke, but about a year afterwards, she passed away. He's a really jolly guy, but it still makes me sad that he and his children had to go through that. She was only in her early 40's.
I just recently had several strokes and I learned that the brain can heal itself. The brain not healing is what they thought but now they have learned that it can. Knowing that helped me to walk again without a cane or walker. Get the book "Stronger After Stroke". It's very helpful if you or a loved is recovering from a stroke. In short, as soon as there is any kind of movement, start to increase exercise of the effected side as much as possible. Use it or lose it.

i had a stroke and living a pretty normal life now 9years later but it has been a challange.it has taking me long time to feel lucky that i lived after stroke.. that is the hard part to explain..
I am struggling to understand this Dr narrative. My mum had a Ischemic stroke four month ago and she is recovering remarkably. Imagine, she’s 80 years old and four month ago she couldn’t move understand anything. She was paralysed on left side etc however, with four months, she can walk and move her hand pretty well. She’s still not speaking like before but she’s trying. Therefore, stroke could change ppl differently but the recovery isn’t impossible.
My Dad had a stroke and died last November. Literally my Mom had less then 5 minutes to realize what was going on. He was only 65. Please pass this information to people.
Hello. I had two CVA's/cerebral strokes/aneurysms in 1969. I was 5 years old. I never smoked, never drank alcohol, never took drugs in almost 50 years that it happened to me. I was 3 weeks comatose.I laughed when you said" the best case scenario for strokes, is not to have one"". I would not have thaught of that alone. At least, you're funny! Good tape. Thanks,David
My best friend of 23 years had a stroke 10 years ago. She was only 47, n just had her birthday. I know there are times a patient strokes so bad they were unrevivable. I'm sorry I'm feeling something could have been at least attempted. So young. I've never recovered her loss we were like sisters
My great grandmother was very active and healthy till she had a massive stroke two weeks ago. Intervention would have killed her immediately, but no intervention would lead to her "natural" death within a few weeks as well. She died last weekend, two days before her 104th birthday.
I had all the symptoms of a stroke except for the face drooping an the emgerncry room doctor said I was suffering from a sinus infection. Needless to say I am in the process of finding answers of what really happened to me. This video Was awesome.
I first have numbness on my right arm. Seen a doctor and referred to a Cardio specialist. After test the specialist cant tell me what happened to me. I have since lost my vision and brain damage. I was disappointed furious that a doctor specialist cant tell me it's a stroke.:((((((((
Unfortunately my doctor's don't listen .. I said it multiple times some thing is wrong . Now the 5th one my voice hasn't returned to normal it's permanently broken and I hate the way I sound .
Unfortunately I had a stroke seven years ago and I was walking a little bit better in 2018 But I wanted to walk normal again ;I got desperate and I made the biggest mistake of my life, I did tried the steam cells and I’m worse; before I could go to the bathroom by myself and now I have get help. It’s didn’t work for me 😔
my dad is a nurse at a popular hospital and there was a lady who gave birth to twins but she had a stoke during birth... she is a vegetable now and she cant care for her children. its really fucking sad
I have many of those symptoms as precursors to migraines. I've also had a progressive loss of the ability to articulate, vision in my right eye, and loss of sensation.
hellcat1988 sometimes we have to do illegal things to help us through. I have watched a documentary on someone suffering from migraines so intense that he was ready to end his life. And then he discovered magic mushrooms. He now takes them once a month and does not get migraines. Sometimes the risk is worth the reward.
Josh Howson I know how to avoid my migraines for the most part. They aren't the problem. The problem is the loss of nerve function and chronic pain from other physical problems.

I’ve had extensive neurosurgeries for brain cancer, and have an increased risk of stroke from surgeries, and radiation for recurrences. How is my chance of these extreme cardiovascular events impacted by those procedures?
About a week ago I fainted after standing up too fast and stretching my muscles after sitting down for too long. Apparently all my blood got drained from my brain. Could you guys make an episode on head-rushes?
At random parts of the day, usually when i get up from a seat or my bed, the whole left side of my body gets very weak. the left side of my jaw drops, my left arm start to dangle as if i was dead, my left leg feels as if I cant carry my own weight and I start to lose balance, and I suddenly have a block in my speech. If I'm communicating with someone and this happens during our conversation, i will start to slur my words and stutter. This happens to me about 20 - 30 times a day, maybe more, depending on how many times get up out of my chair where my computer setup is. I don't know what is wrong with me
I got out of bed one night to get myself a drink of water from my bathroom sink... The second I went to reach for the faucet, I was immediately hit with a severe headache (Not even a warning!) Immediately nauseous and started throwing up. At the same time I felt this rush of intense pain the radiated throughout my ENTIRE body! Then my fingers and left hand got tingly and numb. I laid myself down on my stomach on the bathroom floor, and my words weren't coming out right. I could kind of talk, but the words seemed like they came out in jerks or studders... I laid there for 25-30 minutes. What happened to me?? I feel as though I have been slowly deteriorating since then, when it comes to eye sight, pauses between words, memory loss, increase in anxiety and agoraphobia. I'm very jumpy and frightened easily... I was stupid and scared, and never got myself checked out. I know that is a huge NO NO! But I'm just here looking for a little bit of help :)
yes, really. maybe it's coupled with his older age, Alzheimer and other things. after the stroke, his speech is slower it just got worse now. he is bedridden and have to wear diapers starting last year . last few months he starts picking his own poop and throw it. pretty impressive with how far he can throw it considering how frail he looks. And no, not Nigerian.
Mia im really sorry, but i cant make up if youre serious or plain bullshitting if youre serious im sorry for what ive said, and ill delete it if you want me to, if not, its kinda funny tbh
my father had a brain stroke 2 months ago. his visual field is very narrow now and his Psychological state became very bad. i hope if there's a treatment for him. 😢
it is true that the brain does not regenerate itself like f.e. skincells, and thus damage is semi-permanent. However, in some cases other parts of the brain take over the functions of the areas that have been damaged/destroyed.
No one believes that this happens to me (not even doctors) because I’m in my early 20s but I am now starting to not be able to remember things or recall words in my vocabulary. It’s terrifying.

do you think with the advancements of gene manipulation, we will be able to implant DNA for an organ into your body with a couple rooted stem cells and allow you to grow an organ? and what if this organ could produce and store emergency stem cells that would deploy whenever they were needed, like in severe circumstances?
Idk if this is a stroke but at school there was a fire alarm so while I was outside I was feeling dizzy and my eye vision was blurryI told my art teacher about it and sended me to the nurse, after a while like 30 mins I felt a little better

A common side effect of survivable strokes and other traumatic brain injuries is an increase in religiosity. It seems that when injured, the brain will occasionally sacrifice the parts most recently evolved, those responsible for logic and higher reasoning. Losing the use of these parts of the brain makes a person more susceptible to suggestion and magical thought, as well as impairing motor and emotional control and general maturity. There is a theory that former George W. Bush suffered an undiagnosed aneurysm or mild stroke about 30 years ago, and that he misinterpreted the experience as being "born again". Considering this experience happened while he was out jogging in the Texas heat after waking up hungover and dehydrated from a 3 day cocaine and alcohol fueled bender with his wife, this theory strikes me a probable. A brain injury would nicely explain the rapid change in his personality that was reported following his "second birth". It would also go a long way toward explaining his actions while in the white house, and after the end of his term.
That's funny because I became an atheist shortly after receiving a tbi via a strike to the temple. I think it had to do with damage to my amygdala which regulates emotions, for I started to think about things without emotional attachment, including my beliefs about the supernatural.

I have lived a healthy life; don’t smoke or drink and all of a sudden I had stroke and at first I thought my life has ended but gradually I am beginning to recover just one sided weakness, how much I wish there’s nothing like stroke
Really great job in explaining about causes symptoms and curing of strokes.
i had a stroke and living a pretty normal life now 9years later but it has been a challange.it has taking me long time to feel lucky that i lived after stroke.. that is the hard part to explain..
As a stroke survivor I wish ID watched some of these stroke recovery videos earlier
"Stem cells can differentiate " lol ya- this channel is rooted in science for sure
My best friend of 23 years had a stroke 10 years ago. She was only 47, n just had her birthday. I know there are times a patient strokes so bad they were unrevivable. I'm sorry I'm feeling something could have been at least attempted. So young. I've never recovered her loss we were like sisters
I was lucky my family rushed me to the emergency room when I was strokin
we need more news on stroke, as it sound scary every time I heard of it.
My great grandmother was very active and healthy till she had a massive stroke two weeks ago. Intervention would have killed her immediately, but no intervention would lead to her "natural" death within a few weeks as well. She died last weekend, two days before her 104th birthday.
RIP grandma
I had all the symptoms of a stroke except for the face drooping an the emgerncry room doctor said I was suffering from a sinus infection. Needless to say I am in the process of finding answers of what really happened to me. This video Was awesome.
Is a stroke a sudden death or does it take hours I just can't get a straight answer on Google
Great now I think I have a stroke evrytime I have a headache...
Stroke is different from headache.
Where do you get these stem cells? Not who gives them to but where is the supply coming from?
I first have numbness on my right arm. Seen a doctor and referred to a Cardio specialist. After test the specialist cant tell me what happened to me. I have since lost my vision and brain damage. I was disappointed furious that a doctor specialist cant tell me it's a stroke.:((((((((
What happened to Julia? Haven't seen her in a very long time.
Unfortunately my doctor's don't listen .. I said it multiple times some thing is wrong . Now the 5th one my voice hasn't returned to normal it's permanently broken and I hate the way I sound .
I had a stroke and when I was leaving at George Junior they never took me to the hospital and I was about 17 or 18 but some how I am still alive
Unfortunately I had a stroke seven years ago and I was walking a little bit better in 2018
But I wanted to walk normal again ;I got desperate and I made the biggest mistake of my life, I did tried the steam cells and I’m worse; before I could go to the bathroom by myself and now I have get help.
It’s didn’t work for me 😔
Be glad because there is hope for you

my dad is a nurse at a popular hospital and there was a lady who gave birth to twins but she had a stoke during birth... she is a vegetable now and she cant care for her children. its really fucking sad
I had a stroke in 2014 still having problems with walking
I have many of those symptoms as precursors to migraines. I've also had a progressive loss of the ability to articulate, vision in my right eye, and loss of sensation.
hellcat1988 have you tried cannibis oil?
Josh Howson
No. I don't use marijuana and I don't have legal access to anything like that. Besides, I doubt that would restore lost nerve function.
hellcat1988 sometimes we have to do illegal things to help us through.
I have watched a documentary on someone suffering from migraines so intense that he was ready to end his life. And then he discovered magic mushrooms. He now takes them once a month and does not get migraines.
Sometimes the risk is worth the reward.
Josh Howson
I know how to avoid my migraines for the most part. They aren't the problem. The problem is the loss of nerve function and chronic pain from other physical problems.
hellcat1988 ok sorry. Trying to help. I really hope u can find a way to manage. Meditation.
That happened to my mother on Saturday god bless she’s ok
May god be with her🙏

I’ve had extensive neurosurgeries for brain cancer, and have an increased risk of stroke from surgeries, and radiation for recurrences. How is my chance of these extreme cardiovascular events impacted by those procedures?
there are also "mini-strokes" people sometimes dont notice if they have them called Transient ischemic attack (TIA)
How frequently does stroke occur for a person???I mean second time when does it come????
About a week ago I fainted after standing up too fast and stretching my muscles after sitting down for too long. Apparently all my blood got drained from my brain.
Could you guys make an episode on head-rushes?
granny has just had a stroke everyome pray please.
Came here because my mom attacked by stroke earlier 3am in the morning i hope he recovers thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ almighty our savior amen!
My granpa had a stroke about 10 years ago. He hasn't been himself since then. He recently started picking and throwing poop.
Really.
The Emerald Apple Wtf
yes, really. maybe it's coupled with his older age, Alzheimer and other things. after the stroke, his speech is slower it just got worse now. he is bedridden and have to wear diapers starting last year . last few months he starts picking his own poop and throw it. pretty impressive with how far he can throw it considering how frail he looks.
And no, not Nigerian.
Mia im really sorry, but i cant make up if youre serious or plain bullshitting
if youre serious im sorry for what ive said, and ill delete it if you want me to,
if not, its kinda funny tbh
+The Emerald Apple
I'm serious. I wish it was a joke.

I came here because I’m pretty sure my grandma has just had a stroke??? It’s the first time this has happened I’m really worried.
my father had a brain stroke 2 months ago.
his visual field is very narrow now and his Psychological state became very bad.
i hope if there's a treatment for him. 😢
I think that the stem cell industry in the United States is relatively new because of limitations set by the FDA that hindered it in the past.
I was already aware of this important information, but thanks for spreading it. It seems the time in which you are treated is critical.
it is true that the brain does not regenerate itself like f.e. skincells, and thus damage is semi-permanent.
However, in some cases other parts of the brain take over the functions of the areas that have been damaged/destroyed.
No one believes that this happens to me (not even doctors) because I’m in my early 20s but I am now starting to not be able to remember things or recall words in my vocabulary. It’s terrifying.
My dad has a stroke and he is in the hospital ;(

I *REALLY* don’t wanna have a stroke. Heat stroke or a stroke caused by smoking or a brain aneurysm bursting sounds like a nasty think think about.

The chances are low,but it is possible.

do you think with the advancements of gene manipulation, we will be able to implant DNA for an organ into your body with a couple rooted stem cells and allow you to grow an organ? and what if this organ could produce and store emergency stem cells that would deploy whenever they were needed, like in severe circumstances?
what about nootropic agents?
Idk if this is a stroke but at school there was a fire alarm so while I was outside I was feeling dizzy and my eye vision was blurryI told my art teacher about it and sended me to the nurse, after a while like 30 mins I felt a little better
Might! Key word.
My Grandpa had a stroke 3 years ago :( he survived though. But he is still sick

I recently suffered from a stroke at the age of 18. The cause is still undetermined and it’s bothering me . My blood pressure is fine and I have no other health conditions. Testing revealed my Protein C mechanism is damaged. So why did I have the stroke, what triggered it?

As someone who suffered a stroke at birth, I didn't like how she didn't even mention babies who get strokes
i only looked this up because my mother just a had stroke and i wanted to know what exactly a stroke is.
They drifted of topic vastly! i was expecting to see a video describing the processes leading to a stroke.
I once witnessed someone having a stroke on a flight, so the plane did an emergency landing.

Could you make a video about why we have lines on our hands and feet?
My mom just has her second and now she’s in the hospital.😞
