Using guide tones for left hand keeps right hand part transparent and crunchy. But the most exciting is the soul of blues lives in Jonny's exceptional performance. Very inspiring lesson!
My own tips for fingering after practicing this great lesson. To avoid right hand moving forward-backward sometimes it's convenient Gm6 at 8:39 to be played with fingers 2-3-4-5. Especially when followed with right hand down move. Another tip for 7:42 is to seamlessly shuffle from G6 with 1-3-4-5 to C with 2-4-5 and only one finger to change. Of course actual convenience of fingering depends on position (octave you are in) and fingers unique personality.
Love this lesson! And I love watching your energetic enthusiasm. Please keep the face insert. I learn so much from you-Thanks for sharing your knowledge and real talent.
Hi Jonny, thanks for all your lessons, they are simply great. However this time I am a little confused, as the notation shows a slide from e to f#, whereas in the video you are sliding from f to f#, which seems more appropriate. Perhaps a typo in your sheetmusic?
Thanks for the amazing lesson. Im just wondering if the chord fingerings are strict or can be adjusted. I can play them better with alternative fingerings. If i use your fingerings especially for the C7 chord i find it tricky.

I'm so exited to learn piano lessons from Ralph Fiennes himself
Love it!
Also...Bradley Cooper.
😍
Do you know boogie woogie?
Thanks a lot. My parents are torturing me to play this song when I hate it.
Would be very helpful to see a quick 5 minutes on lining up
Went from beginner to super advanced...😂😂😂
I like your tutorial, however this is not for beginneers...
I agree. I have played for years and found this to be tricky. I am new to blues so this is like learning piano all over again
Definitely not a beginner lesson.
Beginner, Easy?? LOL
Very helpful, thank you!
