    Hello Actionkid, I learned so many things on this video about the Steinway Family/Business and thank you for the view of the mansion. The vacancies in the commercial district made me sad. It is a lose/lose for everyone involved but most importantly the residents who depend on those establishments to help get through their day. SUPPORT LOCAL!

    I appreciate this video very much. Having lived 31 years in Woodside, Steinway Street was a great attraction for shopping 🛒🛍️ and leisure for me, family, and friends during my years from grade school age to my early college years. I miss Steinway Street - a lot of memories associated with it for me personally.

    I lived in Astoria in the sixties and seventies. I only recognize the Chase building on Broadway and Steinway. Other than that, all has changed. I worked for Dilbert's supermarket in Broadway and 35th Street in a predominantly Greek melting-pot neighborhood. I am now 76.!!!

    That is one cool mansion! Is the Steinway Mansion open for the public? Or are there family living there? And where in NYC do you recommend to train watch?

    • @ActionKid
      @ActionKid  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Steinway Mansion is a private residence. A mystery duo purchased the home in 2014.
      There are many great spots to train watch:
      1) Queensboro Plaza
      2) Skillman Avenue, Long Island City
      3) Penn Station
      4) Grand Central
      5) Jamaica, Queens
