    man you need a japa 365,395,405,435 ! you'd have your processing needs done in 1 day a week ! ( I'm over the moon , I just got a Japa 435 from Europe with 6m log deck for a steal ) . Those nice straight logs would make excellent pieces with the 6 way box wedge

    Lol, that pile!! My goodness, you’ll be giving the Rockies a run for their money. Neighbor Elaine here, you made great headway on those huge logs, well done Johnny. Phew! Enjoy the warm weather, you’ll be so happy to get it all done before the next loads come in. Cheers.

      I enjoy spending my time in the Rockies, thought I'd try and make them myself in this little valley 🏔🤣😂 Now that the big logs are outta the way the rest of the pile should go quickly! Love the weather but getting sick of the smoke in the air.. Have a great week! Cheers from down the way 👍👍

      Something I need here in the wood yard! We get a few nice logs that would be great for a wood mill. Got a ton of firewood just no lumber.👍🪓🪵 Cheers

    That processor gets the job done,it has done a massive amount of wood for you i bet over the years .I am just using a chain saw and a commercial splitter and conveyor .I need a processor ,but 45k is just out of my budget now .I do not want to go into debt but may have to to get the business to the next level. I have had x4 hernias from the wood game !

      I could arrange for you a nice chinese processor Plus actually ok to good chinese log table for around $9500 USD depending on your location

      These units are pretty good for the price tag. And also have alot of attachments for lifting logs and what not. Not sponsored but love the unit for the price. Big thing is what size wood your dealing with. And ouch!! Don't sound fun 4x Hernais.... Be careful out there. Cheers to this crazy business of firewood🪵🪵👍🪓

    That RR keeps impressing me year after year. It was about 4 years ago when I first found your channel cause of your problems with the machine. Seems like you have to keep replacing parts but they're cheap so it's not too bad.

    • @armandshighlife
      @armandshighlife  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You've definitely been with the channel from the beginning, love the support! And even if we upgrade processors. This old girl will always have a spot in the wood yard! Cheers and hope all is well!👍👍🪵🪓

      If i can keep up this rhythm for 1 more year, I think i should be able to get a loader for the yard. Hopefully the back hold up abit longer🤞🤞👍🪵

      Been on the fence about getting one of them the past few years. I see a new Eco pro in the future and I'd get the lift aswell if I go that route 👍👍 Cheers Pascalfleury3829

    I see your gate is up too cut those big ones . Did you disconnect the drop down gate safety to do these bigger logs ? Is that the trick ?

      Bit of a story behind why the cage is up on the splitter. I'll have to make a short video on that, as this question comes up quite abit. Cheers 👍🪵🪓

    Little trick cut them at 4’ be easy for to lift on your small processor buddy . 16” just a nice small log 🪵 for a mill . Biggest fir log I cut so far in the 709 62” fir . We got yellow and gray birch grow nice in my area up to 5’ 15 ‘ across the bottom off the trees . Most off them run at 42” to 48” across . I drop a lot birch that run over 3 cords into them block up 🔝. 😊

      My back would like that idea at 4 ft pieces. Just me being stubborn and not wanting to pull out chainsaw.. and 16 is biggest I try to have in our yard. Makes good wood for the old RR Processor. Bigger logs get hand split. Would be nice to get a mill someday for big stuff. And can't imagine dealing with wood that size... let alone moving it around the yard with no loader... Cheers and have a great week🪵🪵👍

    How often do u change your chainsaw chains on your chainsaw if u don't sharpen them

    • @armandshighlife
      @armandshighlife  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I personally like to file the chains down till the tooth is gone, before changing out for a new one. And if you don't sharpen them, run till its dull then get a new one, as it more unsafe to run a dull chain over a sharp one. I'd recommend sharpening though. Or learning how to 👍👍

    OK it works on pine how about some real wood ?

    • @armandshighlife
      @armandshighlife  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dose great on pine, birch tamarack maple. And I'd imagine if you got some oak or other hard woods, as long as the wood your getting in nice and straight poles. This unit should work fine for you. Always a right tool for every job out there! Cheers 🪵👍🪓
