I'm impressed that you are able to get back on the firewood already! We are a month away the way things are going.... Nice looking wood! Take care, Jason.
I’ve been processing wood for a couple weeks now, I’ve got about 20 cords made and delivered. I hope my supplier can keep me in wood! Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve got about 20 cords processed and sold so far this spring. I’m aiming for 150- as long as my supplier can deliver! I cut wood on my land for our use and my son and daughter-in-law’s house. I really enjoy it. Thanks for watching Joe, all the best- Jeff
Well mine kept back firing and then it guilt. 7 hours on the dam thing and haven’t done 2 cords of wood.found out what was wrong. The gas cap was not venting properly.. new cap. Hope this get this dam thing up and going.
You’ll still have plenty of opportunities to use your saw and splitter. Not every stick will go through the processor. Even my big professional unit has limitations
Great vid Jeff...I'm curios about your dump trailer, looks like aluminum? Maybe a content idea.....give us videos of your equipment choices, technical specs, pros and cons, etc. I for one, really trust the opinion/advice/recommendations of a guy who's a mechanic, understands equipment, its capabilities, how prone it is to breaking down, etc.
How do you like the Hydraulic bar kit?I just got my ecopro 300 a week ago and I love it. I got the Hydraulic bar kit but it didn't have the brackets for the cylinder so my dealer is getting me a set this week. The reason I ask how you like it I'd because everyone I talk to seems to hate the Hydraulic bar kit.
I wouldn’t have the machine without it. My shoulders are worn out. It certainly isn’t plug and play, I had to do a little fabricating and then there was a learning curve to use it with out it stalling the motor. The arm comes with a flow control valve and you’ll need to play with the adjustment to get it in the sweet spot. But all in all- its great and worth the extra effort to get it dialed in. Thanks for watching, All the best, Jeff.
Thanks for the videos, very helpful. I am considering buying one of these, but am concerned with lack of power and hydraulic capacity. Is there an option to use a larger engine, and or larger hydraulic reservoir? I will be cutting only hardwoods that are too small for the sawmill, or twisted and gnarly. I am afraid this little machine wont handle it. Also, when you say you cut 2-3 cords a day with this, I assume you aren't working 8 hrs (or do you mean "bush" cords?) Thanks!
The lack of power is a bit of concern- I’m planning to upgrade the engine to a 22hp Honda… 2-3 full cords of gnarly hardwood a day- miserable wood- it’s a part time gig when I’m not milling lumber I use the processor to supplement my forestry business. That also includes delivery. I could do 6-8 full cords a day if I had decent wood and a place to store it once it’s cut and split. Hydraulics are plenty strong- it’s a 27 ton splitter- and I’d even say that is conservative. I have zero regrets buying it. Thanks for watching- have a blessed Easter! Jeff :)
@@thelogfather5002 thx for the reply . I run a 6x6 aswell on my 160 acres in Manitoba . Considering an off shore processor but a little skeptical yet. I’ve had good and bad luck with Chinese machines.
@@gboz4245 yeah- me too, they can be hit or miss for sure. I think the saving grace for the Range Road is the company- it’s here in Canada, you get to talk to a real person if there’s an issue and they stand behind their product. I wouldn’t hesitate buying this machine again.
For an entry level machine- it’s ok. But it takes some constant tinkering to make sure it stays working to meet my expectations. I’ve up graded to a different machine this past summer- a TAJFUN rca400.
Very nice! Thanks for your support Jeff. Love the videos!
You’re very welcome, I’m glad to be part of the family!

Kohler motor?
Nice!
It’s been a great addition to my wood business!
I am going to pick up a range road tomorrow morning. A chain saw and log splitter is not cutting it anymore. Lol

@@thelogfather5002 where has a wood processor been my entire life.

Sure was. :)

Curious what the split fire engine is powering?
It was running my live deck, I was just using it as a power pack. It’s hooked up to the processor now. Thanks for watching! Jeff

Hello log father I am looking at buying one of these . Given this is a 1yr old video how is it still operating / how do you like it ?
For an entry level machine- it’s ok. But it takes some constant tinkering to make sure it stays working to meet my expectations. I’ve up graded to a different machine this past summer- a TAJFUN rca400.
Where did you get the cylinder kit for the saw?
That came from Range Road, I bought it when I bought the machine. It’s a necessity for me- my shoulders are worn out.
Thanks! I will look and see if I can find it. I just got this unit and would like to add this option.
Was it easy to install?
