No grease cap on the end of the hub and yet you said you were about ready to go. No, no you are not. That grease cap keeps the bearing grease inside and the dirt outside. Without that grease cap that outer bearing will not last long when your grease becomes a gritty grinder paste.

I heard you say again, if this is a common issue then your doing something wrong when installing your hub and settin up your besring freeplay.

R.I.P. Turk Dogs are such beautiful spirited animals and losing them is heartbreaking. 5 years is too short a time to be blessed with such a beautiful. I lost my dog 7 years ago to snake bit at age 12. The 2 dogs I ended up with to replace him are now around 12 themselves. Few things are better than a dog as a companion. Condolences to you and the family Johnny.

We do a fair amount of trading as well . Hand shoveled wow that’s a lot of work .

As a firefighter I have fought a number of wood sawdust fires. By their nature heat can build in the pile and cause spontaneous combustion. The same with horse or cattle manure, people dump it in their corral and mix it up with dirt and sometimes it ignites underground and travels underground to pop up wherever it wants. For those that say I do it all the time google manure self combusts and read some of the cases.

Eight years I would of thought most of it would of decomposed by now. That would be great garden mulch.

Mix the sawdust with some water, compress it and they make great fire bricks and burn for long time

Let it compost for a couple years and ya got potting soil to sell.. that is what i do with all the sawdust from splitting wood and running our sawmills.
