you can just be (ideas men ). people who only have ideas without any programming skills. can make character skins in the game. just by entering the picture and prom. and gpt chat will create the game character skin program in 3 seconds. (a game where everyone can use different characters, clothes and looks)

I‘ve done several projects in the it an software engineering, but this brigs it to whole new level
The difference is that you knew what to do and this is why it worked. It is a nice tool but it is like giving a modern tool to all guys living in middle ages. And still as a cloud data eng. I do a lot of work with low code tools and the development part is about 10 - 20% of my working time. It is all about thinking what is better and testing different solutions. It is about discussing requirements within team and designing solution.
I've seen a lot of people say similar things and you may be right, but I can't help but think it's just a way to cope with the fact that it could make a lot of our jobs obsolete.
Sure the ai can't do a lot of the "human-like" deep thinking stuff, right now at least, but I think the question is does that even matter when it takes so little time to talk to the ai and let it help you make difficult decisions plus give you the code for it. And almost anyone can do that with just a little bit of knowledge,. So sure, maybe a small amount of engineers will still be needed to run the AIs, just something to think about.

Funny. I’m a mechanical engineer using figma to work on an interface project, I can completely understand the feeling of not being a “design” person and trying to make something look good. I always say I have the aesthetic sensibility of white rice.
With a few tweaks, you could probably use this code to give GPT effectively full access to the internet. Wouldn't that be cool.

I managed to get short sub-5 second gpt-3.5-turbo, single instance responses using annoyindex for nearest neighbour search on a locally stored vector db. But with a standard api key, you can only make three calls/min to the chatCompletions endpoint

hey loved the video, explain a high level concept. the bit a didn't fully understand was how you embedded the linked websites into the model. Am i write in thinking embedding doesn't use tokens so its a more efficient way than just throwing text at the API? My understanding is the embedding will need to align to the model .... anyone help me out. is the code available?

fyi asynchronous lambdas execution max runtime is 15 mins. you can kick off a job and retrieve results by polling or some subscribing mechanism.
Oh man I love this. I am in desperate need to make my own personal assistant or secretary because I have ADHD. Would be very nice to have a AI that can keep up with time and data you feed it and remember it all for you and help you stay on task. Is this possible? Where should I start?
Pinecone (vector database I used then didn’t) is the perfect example of it remembering it for you.

Usually when I watch tutorials I understand most of it, this was more an idea then acuall tutorial, but it is definetly above my level, Lewis is very skilled
He's skilled but not with this. True comprehension of any subject should be easily reflected in the comprehensive way they can teach it. Like you said, this really wasn't a tutorial and was definitely more of a flex on his end. Conceptually it's okay, but I didn't really gain any value at all from watching this

I think one is supposed to buy openAI plus subscription in order to access it.

GPT4 IS FKN INSANE!!! I been learning python for 2 years Ive been working on training a model that will learn the systems process on the targeted application and train it..then created another script for the AI to predict variables inside the .pkl and update the model then GPT4 recommended me to use the file as .onnx to run my model through the GPU and CPU for quicker access on the given application and boost computations BROOOOOO it's literally no limit to what it can do and it also help me creating a neural network
