While the fairings are off. Tighten up the starter cable that goes to the starter. And also the cable that goes to frame. The vibration of the v4 will loosen up over time and will cause the bike not to start and the dash will go black... thank me later lol

Take the evap canister off. I just did that to my 18 rf and it’s running cooler and also not having start issues with the canister removed.

This reminds me, my 2015 JK 2 door Sport has a coolant smell that won’t go away but it never drips.

I removed 'only' 3 of my Tuono decals. 1 on the air duct was 'easy' and 2 to add a tank pad. The other 5? will be done when it gets ceramic and detailed. WTH Aprilia?

That V4 engine is awesome but because of its vibration it causes alot or issues, if you’re lucky it just hasn’t happened yet
Yeah and a lot of dealerships mess them up, when putting them together.

Aprilia has terrible quality control. They could learn a few things from the Japanese brands.
Often times it’s the dealerships that mess them up. R1’s blow up so often to the point where there are shops dedicated to building and fortifying their motors, but people swear they’re bulletproof. S1ks had a boat load of issues too. No manufacturer is perfect
@@MadWilli Making a reliable motorcycle is not Aprilia's forte. All models are plagued with mechanical issues and warranty claims. Dealing with Aprilia Support is a torment.
@@blakefollett Aprilia supports is definitely not a pain but the Japanese bikes are horrendous. S1ks have an insane recall/warranty list. The only brands that can say they are reliable currently are Honda and Ducati
@@MadWillithat was the silver case R1 engine specifically the 2015 and 2016 models, there was a crank float issue that was warranty recalled, no further widespread engine issues at all after that. They are a very reliable superbike actually.
@@ST-kq9py 😂just look at which bikes in the past 3 years alone keep blowing up in wsbk, moto America, ewc, etc. Hell kilacams r1 blew up a couple months ago and the guy fastlaneD always rode with that won his r1 from blondiemotovlogs. The r1 is the toxic gf that you ignore all the red flags. The people who say they’re reliable are the ones who hardly ride, takes them 5 years to do 3k miles, which is the equivalent of 10 hours a year of riding. I’ve done 60k in 2 years between my 2020 400 and 22 RS660.

In 2024 aprillia still has problems like first's 2009 model rsv4...that is italian bikes..shity bikes...no thnx..ONLY JAPAN

F.Y.I. -- You hold the clutch in for a 3-4 sec count and that N to 1st shift CLUNK is markedly better.. I could hear that clunk like I was standing there.. Rad pressure cap is odd.. Continue to be IMPRESSED by Aprilia quality.. it's like super quality aftermarket not OEM lowest bid vender junk.. Even on the early 2000ish > Aprilia RSV twin the rearset brackets had a groove to seat the foot peg return spring tang..who does that..nobody. With dealers few and far you'd think Aprilia would step up getting parts to customers .instead of this months and months wait period for critical parts .. Ears burning Aprilia. your dealer network is woeful inadequate so finding a dealer to do repairs just SUCKS, When you find a dealer 5 hrs away, it take months to get critical parts to repair your bike... FUBAR Aprilia FUBAR !!
