19:20 is very true. Book smart is important but you also need to know what's happening around you. Having a personality makes a big difference especially in the west. Many book smart people have limited social skills.

Nice podcast today. Thank you Abel. This is what exactly we call it racism. Nowadays racism is very systematic. I know we are from Ethiopia we don’t understand and we don’t even care whatever they say because we don’t colonize and we came here to make money. However if we see deeply the system there’s a lot of racism around.
Last yr I've got to Howard uni with full merit based scholarship n I lost it bcuz of no one was willing to pay for my enrol deposits of 300$. Still I regret abt my loss.

U still could defer your admission and even apply for aid or waiver for your deposit and SEVIS fee. Email them again to hear what they can do
