    It is shocking to me that companies do not put up detailed, extensive videos of their products as you are doing. It take an enthusiastic customer to sell this. I am sold and love the idea of two separate grates that can be moved up or down separately plus the different cooling surfaces - I love. I just wish they had a basero in the middle. Thanks for the video - I hope you get a commission from Sunterra.

      Thanks you. I got started in 2017, the day after Thanksgiving. After everyone raved about the meal, my oldest daughter said”you should start a TH-cam channel “. The rest is history. I appreciate the support and hope to see your channel start soon. Take care.

    Have you owned or tried different manufacturers of Santa Maria grills? Yours look really slick. I am just concerned with the thickness of the metal

      Rikk Kretue I can say that this thing is built like a tank no the added fire brick helps with keeping the temps burning hot for quite sometime. I truly believe this grill will last a lifetime if cared for. Thanks for checking out the video.

    What do you use to clean the outside?

      Only mild detergent and warm water. The powder coat surface is very easy to keep clean. Thanks for checking out the video.

    I would like to know if your grill has become to rust and if you’ve done anything to avoid it.

    • @DskiGrillz
      @DskiGrillz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Zero rusting since owning this grill. The only area that rusts is the griddle pan. I believe keeping it rust free is a product of always having it covered when not in use. It’s very difficult to keep the cast iron from rusting so the best wya I prevent it is by spraying it with cooking oil after each cook and stowing it away. It does help.

      @@DskiGrillz I live in Miami, FL and I am concerned about the grill becoming a rust box in a year’s term. Humidity in the air for most of the year. I think covering in a humid environment is counterproductive due to condensation.

      @@jivano Good point Richard. That would definitely increase chances of rusting. Ocean environments as well. I’ll do some research and see what I come up with. Happy Easter!

      Hi Richard. I’ve been vested with trying to find a rust free solution in areas of high humidity. Seems like everyone says the same thing. Here’s what I found though I feel you have probably already taken this route. Hope this helps. Read below:
      What's the best way to store cast iron?
      Keep cast iron in a cool and dry place.
      Only store cast iron when it's clean and absolutely dry (this stops pans from attracting rust)
      Wrap your cast iron in paper towels to protect them.
