    Wowwwwwwww! The first tip...PRAY!!!! I loved it! I totally agree! Take better care but keep God first. "Don't make your hair a god." You are so right. That was the best thing I've heard on a hair care video on youtube and I've watched DOZEN AND DOZENS!!! Great video! :)

      +7mike2300 Hi Mike, Hair treatment takes time and you have to be patient. I used many treatment for my hair and many of them did not work and since I am the kind of person that works, I cant be having oils in my hair and having greasy situation. Please be aware when you used hair treatment it does not take one day to grow hair, nor 7 days, it will takes more time than one month, you must be patient. I had my hair falling for nothing and I began to have a bald spot on my head and as woman that affected me a lot but men are no different from woman, it affects them as much as we do, you are young. I used Hair Essential, it took one whole month to stop the hair falling, then 4 months later I noticed baby hair coming out of my head, I have been using it for 3 and half years, my hair is completely full now after almost 3 years. I still use it, so hope this can help but everybody is different.

    I lost my hair and I had always been known for my long, thick hair. It's devastating when you lose your hair. See, some people think it's just hair, but hair is a reflection of your overall health. Later that summer, I found out that I was toxic due to the foods I ate. That is why I say healthy hair helped my overall health. When I got that in line, I cleared up some health problems.

    Stress was killing my hair. My scalp was oily, my hair was thin and it felt a lot in the shower. I wet to the dermatologist and she gave me this directions: exercise half an hour every day to help controlling my stress levels. Wash the hair every day instead of doing it every other day or every other two days (the natural oils were doing more harm than good) and stop pulling the hair up.
    Thanks for your advice, I'm sure they will be very helpful.
    God bless you

    • @stephjarr
      @stephjarr 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why did your doctor say pulling your hair up is bad? I wear a bun everyday for work and I never thought it would be bad for my thinning hair.

    • @MissPonsy
      @MissPonsy 10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      stephjarr well you add extra stress to the strand and the scalp. Have you notice it hurts a bit or feels funny when you let your hair down? That is not very good for the roots because you are actually pulling them out. The younger strands (the new hair) are delicate and can be pulled our easily, specially if you have an oily scalp like me. The excess oil lubricates the follicle (I'm not sure if it's spelled correctly, sorry) and makes it extra vulnerable and easy to pull out. So my doctor said be careful with the updos.

    I haven't had a perm in over 3 to 4 years I have edges that are a little thin but mostly I have further up close to the center on each side of the middle of my head little hairs but they never seem to grow thick and right in the center front the hair never grows past my nose and its thin to the crown so I'm glad to know your here because I was truly going back to a perm even though perms and color seem to swell me up now so I haven't wanted to put anything that's going to make it worst on my hair. I am older and diabetic but am will to try these things. Have a happy, safe day.

    I too, want to applaud you for putting God first because prayer changes EVERYTHING!! Also, thank you for sharing your story as well as your video of your journey. I've been praying for God to help me with my hair thinning and eventually going bald in some areas. This has truly taken a toll on my self-esteem. I've asked beauticians as well as went to see a dermatologist. The beautician just was taking my money but not really helping me and the dermatologist ran a bunch of tests checking my thyroid, testosterone levels, etc. and they were all fine. I've had people tell me a bunch of products to use but not how to use them and I'm sick of just throwing money away. I'm going to try everything that you have said on here including changing my diet and exercise and I hope it goes well for me like it did for you☺️. Be Blessed and keep doing what you are doing to help women like me. Thank you again. 😌

      @@shalenadiva Thank you for your reply. I am in my 70's and I just love your beautiful personality when you speak. You have the glow of the Lord all over you. I thought at first that my age was the reason I was losing my hair, but I have seen so many women of my age and older with a beautiful head of hair. I asked the Lord what's wrong with me, why am I losing my hair on top and the sides? I also was on a lot of medication for high blood pressure and cholesterol. The Lord impressed on my mind to trust Him not these medication (in which I was so tire of taking anyway). So I told my doctor that I was no longer going to take these medication anymore and if I die, I die! At least I know where I am going from here and looking forward to being with my Lord. You know it's been just about a year now since I stop taking my medication and my blood pressure has been normal and no problem with my cholesterol. I change my eating habits to more healthier foods, no fried foods, more veges and fruit and lots of water. I have been told that my complexion is even looking better for my age. My doctor is surprise. I just want to share this with you. Sorry I type so much, but this is my testimony. Praise the Lord!

    Thanks for posting this. I'm definitely going to try some of the things you've mentioned. I'm suffering from hair loss (male pattern baldness) due to PCOS and it's extremely demoralising as I once had long THICK strands of unmanageable hair. I read in many places that women who lose their hair due to PCOS will never be able to grow their hair back because their effected hair follicles are dead, I'm not willing to give up just yet. So once again thank you for sharing your experience with us.

    Great insight.. I also suffer from Alopecia (Areata), and a form of Androgenic Alopecia (because I'm in my mid 30s). I have a bald spot since August this year. I really believe taking care of your hair works wonders, the natural way. I've been doing almost the same regimen as you have done. Particularly my vitamins, and my hair regimens. My hair has been growing faster and my bald spot is starting to grow new hair (1 inch now).
    I also have gone gluten-free as well for the past 3 weeks. Physically feeling better after going on that diet. So I will continue with it. Gluten aggravates inflammation (of the follicles and other organs in the body). Getting rid of gluten helps with autoimmune diseases like Alopecia and other ailments associated with autoimmune. Some people go as far as doing the Paleo diet, though I don't recommend going Vegetarian if you have Alopeicia, it's not good for your hair getting rid of animal protein. Hair is made out of protein, so make sure you have alternative ways to get that protein in your body.

    Great video! This helped a ton for me (: I knew a little about what I needed to do, but this entire video was so thorough and informative and I learned so much. Another factor that usually affects people is sleep, because when you're sleep deprived your body is under stress and stops sending nutrients to your scalp to grow hair. Because like you said, hair is not essential to the body. (Source: Belgravia Centre)

    I had to begin wearing my hair natural, due to alopecia areata, and it's the best decision I ever made. I use only natural oils and shampoos on my hair. The hair follicles are slowly beginning to regrow.💗

      Nikki Clark WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!! I can't wait to do a hair journey video about how this journey affected MY LIFE! Here's the short version: Once I started on this journey, I began to love myself more. As a result I started demanding and asking more of life and myself. I realized that I was in a toxic relationship of 6 years and left EVERYTHING. Embracing my natural beauty helped me to find the inner strength to create the life of my dreams. I will do a video about this soon. xoxoxoxox

    Show us a picture of your hair now in March 2016. I also grew my own hair listening to good people like yourself, but I like ALIVE vitamins which helped alot read the ingredients on the box castor oil and all natural products and drinking water and my hair has grown. In this picture of me it is from 2012, my hair is 3'x longer in 2016. Love to watch success stories!

    Peace sis! You did an excellent job of presenting the information in your video. May I add detoxing the body with a cleanse. Ridding the body of toxins will improve absorption of those wonderful nutrients you’ve mentioned! Dietary changes involving nutrient dense foods render better results in a clean body. Blessings to you and thanks for the awesome reminders!

    You are really a lovely Christian. Stay well, on your journey, and thanks for the useful tips. You may never know how many young people you helped, to try God, just by what you said, and the beautiful example you gave. Better to find God when you're young, then your latter years will go a lot smoother, because your faith will have built up. And one thing about when your faith is built up, there is not one problem that come before you, that you will know that God is on the case."He will keep thee in perfect peace, whose mind is kept on Him."✌❤🙏

    Thank you so much for sharing! I too have a bald crown, but mine is more permanently damaged than a balding crown. I had a bald spot from chemically treating my hair and putting flat twist in right after, since I was 7 or 8. I am now 20, and I still have the bald spot. It is much smaller, but it wasn't until 7 years later that I begin to get my hair to grow back there. Hopefully these things will work for me.

    Great video!! Thanks so much. I love how you mentioned praying about this journey and not making hair a god by obsessing over it. Anything we put before the Lord as an idol we stand to lose so I am in total agreement. I too prayed as I started my hair journey 2 weeks ago. I have the emu and jbco and will use it more often and try the vitamins also. God bless you and all the best!

    I noticed my hair was thinning as well, and I started drinking smoothies to incorporate more greens (fiber) and then went to vitacost and bought their Spirulina tablets & coconut oil capsules. Lots of water is important but my hair is healthier than it's ever been as is my very dry skin.

    Have you tried carrot seed oil in any of your recipes? Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I just turned 35 and have dealt with a very thin crown area for years. :( I have made so many concoctions in my kitchen that have really helped to improve the quality of my hair, but nothing really has helped with the thinning. I just got JBCO and am going to start that with massage. Thanks again!

    Thank you!!!! I actually did the same thing, asking God to show me how to take care of my hair. Ive been on a beautiful whirlwind of natural hair care ever since. I had been natural ALL of my life and then one day I did something really stupid, I PERMED MY HAIR out of curiosity. I messed my hair up so bad that I thought that there was no coming back. To make things worse, I was under a lot of stress due two major surgeries while pregnant and child birth which made me loose a lot of hair BUT GOD

      AWESOME!!!! There are so many more things to consider with hair health. For example, I've cut so much of my hair over the past 2 years. Recently, guess what?!? I noticed that my curl pattern is off the chain. I mean my hair is curly all over my head. It's never been that way before. I can do wash and go's now. You see, my natural curl (which I never knew what it was before) was forming. Most folks focus only on length and miss out on the other wonderful aspects of natural hair. Much success.

    It depends on what you need the oil for.. but some light oils are black currant seed oil, evening primrose, and flaxseed oil.
