Thank you for showing the view at the end of the video. I'm debating on the window placement. Horizontal or vertical? I will be using a crossbow and a rifle. Also, I will be leaving it on the ground. I can't help but think the horizontal layout would be the best in my situation. I would love to hear your opinion since you've hunted out of one
Looks good, I am sure you will like the booner blind. I have several, I have started pre-assembling the windows before taking it to the woods. Saves some headache. I like the 2x4 brace for mounting the base down. I have been using lag bolts and washers but the base flange is pretty small.
Do the windows open to the side or down? It looks like in the video they open to the side, but other videos show them opening down. Maybe the newer versions like this opens to the sides. I know the old version used to open down.
Yeah I've noticed that by the time you pay for shipping you might as well build one the way that you would want it which is what I did last time. But I don't have the time this year lol. So the plastic one sounded like a pretty good idea
Looking like a new Castle for you to live in...lol I just couldn't quite understand why you had to read the instructions ??? Are men just suppose to know everything and not use instruction so that when there are extra parts left over you can blame the manufacturer for sending extra parts....LOL Now all you will need to do is put a couple trail cams inside looking in different direction so you will get a better picture of the deer travel to your food plot. Looked pretty simple to put together but have to agree that washers should have been included. Blame that one on the manufacture for missing parts....ROFLMAO !!!!!! 🙂
In my defense I only looked at the directions for the door handles 🤣 but did realize I started putting the bolts in the wrong way for the windows...luckily I was only 2 in...so wasn't a big deal to switch them.

@dougroberts3643 yes, using a gun and crossbow...the horizontal windows would probably be best. For the money I think you will be happy.
@HuntYourWay Thank you for the reply
I have two Booner Blinds and both have given great service. The 5 panel easily allows two adults to hunt from the blind.
Yeah, so far so good

Yeah, ill be getting another one soon...and I'll do the same...assemble the window hinges at home...one less thing to do in the woods.
What’s the link to get one with ALL
BOW windows?!?!
maverickhunting.com/booner-5-panel-blind/
This is the dagger 5 panel...it has all bow windows besides the door window

@flatfour76 this version opens to the side.
Does it have a way to put a lock on the door?
@kyleschnarr9912 you would have to put your own latch on it but it could be done pretty easily.
Cannot seem to find these blinds without paying $300+ for shipping. Anyone find one with free shipping?
@zacnorman8702 Got to Maverickhunting.com. you can order online...my shipping cost would be $199.
@@zacnorman8702 I doubt you find anyone selling them with free shipping as mine came on a semi. It's a pretty big box.

@zacnorman8702 it's not a bad blind for the money. The 5 sided ones ok for 2 people...but I'd recommend the 6 sided for the extra room.
Found one at Menards...free shipping with a rebate 1100$ or so for the 6 panel
What size bolts does it come with?
It's been a while since I put this together...put a feel like they were either 5/16 or 7/16.
How many hours did it take to assemble?
2 people.. about 30-45 minutes
Im about a year and half late to the game here, but the blind seemed very flimsy. Is there a way to stiffen it up at all?
I put a 2x4 around the base and screwed it to...worked great. Not a bad blind for the money
Would it be very hard to gun hunt out of this version?
@@kyleschnarr9912 not at all....the windows have plenty of room
How big is the platform you built?
@@kyleschnarr9912 I went 8x8ft just incase I want to upgrade to a bigger blind down the road
@HuntYourWay that's what I was thinking just because don't wanna come up the stairs and the blind be immediately right there
Looks great.
What condition is it in after one year ?? Really on the fence about getting one
Still looks new. There's nicer blinds out there...but for the money these are pretty nice.
How well does the door seal when closed? Also, do the windows open inward or outward and do they seal up good as well? Great video guys!
Yes, the door and windows seal up pretty good. The windows open inward.
Nice set up should be cool footage when a deer is walking in front of that blind
Buy washers
What size washer is best? Thank you.
