I'm not from Ghana but I'm certainly happy for them , this is what us Africans need to do more of. Creating our own and producing our own. This is great to see
@ZionHillCalling we shall see, technology should be deployed with caution. Banks across the globe laid off workers as a result of technology (automated systems).
As an American Christian I like to see this. Blessings to Ghana, Ghanaians are good people, very friendly and down to earth. I hope it all goes well and I hope to buy one some day (piece of automotive history).
yessssss!!! about time. Africa make your own cars and keep the money in the continent. I'm excited!! No more European and Asian cars. Starting somewhere.
Fantastic stuff very pleasing to see this happening hope it all goes so well for you ,just dont let the big boys in the industry try and hassle you ! cheers and good luck to you all !!
Good job Ghana. Whether manual or robotic assembly, testing is integral part of manufacturing, every part assembled should immediately be tested for established gold standard precisions (six sigma) and then repeat the test at module level and complete vehicle (system test), not sure if they are doing it but the video doesn't show it
I'm expecting the government of our motherland Ghana to stop buying vehicle from outside and buy in the locally manufacturing vehicles of the kantanka motors.
The government should atleast provide a "stipend" of sorts for the home grown company to spur its growth but $14k-$20k is steep for a new car. They need to target the cheap cheap market like $10k but what do I know about making new cars?
@@MichaelSmith-um2uv That is probably the biggest issue with his business model, very few of us Ghanaians can afford luxury cars, we mostly prefer commercial vehicles like the tricycle variants, mini vans and motor cycles. If he makes those, we will all jump on board.
Even the big car manufacturers have to import parts from other countries. To be honest no new company will be able to manufacture everything from scratch
Even I'm not from Ghana I'm so happy to see how Africans countries started to create cars too I hope the whole technology will be in whole Africa so happy
That's excellent. Hope it grows very much and goes international. Here in India automobile industry is strong because of the support from the locals. This is the type of mindset Africans need.
waw Great Ghana made fantastic action, but we africans should respect our local production and encourage Ghana made cars, why not we respect each other, support your local markets so that you become stronger than you are now, buy and sell your local commodities, never mistrust each other, change your black skins to white hearts
Unfortunately, the reason Kantanka Cars is able to offer world-class vehicles is simple: It gets just about everything shipped over from a Chinese automaker. The Kantanka vehicles supposedly designed for Ghana's local conditions are, in fact, indistinguishable from ones that have been on sale in China for years.
BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!!!, BELOVED AND BLESSED DADDY KANTANKA! This Automobile 🚗 Production of Yours, is GOING INTERNALLY, INTERNATIONALLY AND GLOBAL. GOD BLESS ALL YOUR SINCERE EFFORTS, GHANA WILL HIT A NEW AND DIFFERENT MILESTONE. THANK YOU BELOVED SARFO KANTANKA. AND SO WHAT, WITH ALL UR CERTIFICATES IN UR ONE CORNER BEDROOM, WHAT HAVE U BEEN ABLE TO GIVE GHANA....................FAKE KOFI....NO WONDER BOAT IS PART OF UR NAME.......SKIRT
So we are celebrating these Chinese cars as “African” now? We should be smarter than this. Just because the Chinese allowed you do put your own badge on the vehicle does not make you an automobile engineer!
American here wishing the best for this brand and it’s people leading the way. Hopefully someday more African nations will be more financially stable and be able to give its people a better life.
For Ghana to progress and develop they should distance themselves from the United States , America bring nothing except unrest and choas in the name of democracy
Richard Teh more like United States should distance themselves from them Africans and stop sending the aid money, let them feed their own with the sales of those cars🖒🇺🇸

I wish him all the best, this is exactly what Africa needs. I work within the car manufacturing Industry and from experiance, I know it's a very expensive business to start up. This company is on the right footing!
Support Ghanian / African jobs, but locally made products. I am proud of this venture. Do you sell stocks? And why not set up an efficient assembly line to mass produce much more vehicles?
John Perdue --- You don't know that! But even so your Apple phone you pay premium for is from there as well as any article own and/or got into debt for, so it begs the question, what's your point? gino manshit no, everything in Ghana.
All the best
This are some of the things the government should support so the will be jobs for the youth.
No robotic arms used in the factory, meaning more jobs created!
@ZionHillCalling we shall see, technology should be deployed with caution. Banks across the globe laid off workers as a result of technology (automated systems).
And only 3 cars made 😂
@@mihadalzayat6957 this is relatively new start-up company, even if they make one car per day is all okay.

gino manshit it is made in Ghana,y say what you dont know
Nah. Ghanaians should build more domestic brands but African's should still buy asian and European cars
Heavenly Beautifully Black I hope it goes that direction but I doubt the Africa as a whole will begin replacing foreign car brands.
Very very very proud... I live in South West Africa even though I feel represented... God bless you Ghana

Chinese CKD assembled car ... like Innoson in Nigeria.
@Chris P Bacon PAN and Volkswagen Nigeria did that since the 70s ... how did that work out?
Kiira was made in uganda 🇺🇬
ajay.f : Yes, they assemble Chinese CKDs
I’m 100% sure this brand is not worse than any GM product , bravo Ghana
Darth Daddy no wonder GM stands for “Great Mistake”😄
Ghanian Motors should make them a “reasonable offer”
