The MagSafe animation when charging has nothing to do with your case, if your charger is certified Made for MagSafe (not MagSafe compatible) and you’re able to charge wirelessly then you’ll see the animation. Apples cases are the only ones that will see the MagSafe attachment animation when you put the case on, though. I would assume that Apple Pay wouldn’t be affected and I can’t say anything as far as the magnet strength.
I’ve tried esr, speck, and spigen. Out of all of these, this one has the strongest magnetic MagSafe, and feels way more comfortable compared to the rest. I would say spigen wasn’t also that bad too, it’s a great case, but aesthetically this one is better for me
