Hey, we wanted to add some clarification on this. (Alec says it multiple times but it seems people are confused, as we've received messages about this video.) Alec's mindset WRONG in this video, he is trying to articulate why he has a hard time sharing work that isn't perfect, the reason is his ego gets in the way. He is judgmental of other's work and afraid that same judgement will be used on him. The solution to this would be to stop judging others so he can be free to create and share trusting the audience will understand. Being judgmental ultimately backfires for artists, while you do need to hold your work to a high standard it should be because you want the work to be it's best, not because you want to avoid any criticism.
