Because the harsh fact is, if you sum up the time of all of his videos, his teaching hours are way exceeded your local driving schools.
Not to mention those teachers are very all-school, so the tips are not as effective as yours.

Ive been driving for 15 years and the last 5/6 years, ive been driving only vans and lorries with large mirrors. I drove a car for the first time in ages a few months ago, i cant describe how weird it felt with those tiny mirrors 😅
On another note, nice videos, i enjoy watching them.

Thank you for this video. Although, I guess you are making this video from the UK (based on your very clear and articulate British Accent). Nonetheless, I still find it very useful for me watching all the way from Ireland. After driving for about 10 years in Africa, I came to Ireland to discover I still have a lot of learning to do before I can drive on Irish roads. Very clear and straightforward explanation. thumbs up man.

These lessons are not only for newbie drivers but old'ns too.
I have been driving for over 10 years and my parking and reversing skills have become very lazy and very poor (the cuts on my tires and the damage to my aluminium rims confirm this).
There is a now a 100% improvement to my reversing; parallel parking is now spot on but my bay parking still needs practising (the bays where I live are very narrow).
It was a nightmare for me to park... NOW IT ISN'T.

Check the side that is closest to something more for safety.

Actually I was struggling with that. As I learned in the school take angle to come closer. Now I understand that whatever you take you have to untake later, so the the solution is to reasonable angle, straight, then untake it
