@@tlgamin867 That is hands down my least favorite thing Disney did. I don’t care about the sequels, I can just not watch them, but now all I think about when I watch my favorite Star Wars thing is how it isn’t canon anymore
I could do this with my younger sister who really wants to watch Star Wars with me…. But I’m not sure I want to do so mainly on the fact I want her to like the show… (FYI until she gets more into the franchise book of Boba Fett does not exist as far as she’s aware. That and anything past force awakens)
So, why did he put it with A New Hope? Plus, he said "hope he doesn't kiss her or anything" during Return of the Jedi, even though Empire Strikes back was earlier in his timeline
@@Ethfanyeah it definitely shouldve been Return of the Jedi without context and then Empire and New Hope dead last in that order this way Return actually reveals the siblings before any kissing and then you get 2 og movies with all context and the wrong way around only the empire placement was a mistake, the rest is fine
I love how the way you say it the hypothetical person who watches it never assumes its all out of order. It's just "Palpatine dies then comes back and dies" and "Luke kisses Liea knowing she's his sister"
You should one day redo this, but also separate the shows with more than one season into different parts of this order. Imagine how bad it would be if you had Clone Wars Season 3 between Andor and Rise of Skywalker
"So before you watch Andor S1, you'll need to watch the entirety of S3 of Mandalorian, and after that, it's BOBF, then the Clone Wars Pilot Movie, then Rise of Skywalker."
I didn't even notice but you're right, Andor works even if you've never heard if star wars, never seen rogue one, and don't know anything about the universe. It's explained what the empire is about, that there's people planning to rebel against it, and their motivations. There's references, but they are neither in your face nor necessary to understand. You don't need to know that Mon moffma was in episode 6, her character and motivations are adequately explained in the show. That's actually pretty awesome.
this is what watching tv shows before streaming and before the internet was like. You would just watch a random episode and slowly piece everything together.
I love how you called the Rise of Skywalker "the Rise of Palpatine" to show that it has nothing to do with "the rising of Skywalker" and instead Palpatine is the one who rises! 😂...
Honestly a clever idea to try to find the most weird order to watch every Star wars movie and show in. Here's the thing for me. When it comes to the movies I don't even know if I keep and watch the movies and shows in order like normal but instead just watch the movies in order and then watch the show some other time. Because the show is just take a lot longer to get through than the movies.
You forgot Droids, Ewoks, 2003 clone wars, and Ewoks caravan of courage. If we’re including the war crime known as the Holliday special those might as well be included. Droids and Ewoks especially because they don’t even care about the OTs continuity, they just do their own thing.
I love how you used the LOTR music when talking about Star Wars Resistance because fun fact, Elijah Wood, the actor of Frodo from LOTR Plays one of the characters in Star Wars Resistance 😂...
This order is chaotic and all but you just gotta let a rookie watch ep. 8 and 9 first and maybe bobf after that to be absolutely sure bc he will have quit watching the rest by then
Honestly, the list was less funny as it went on because you had the best combinations at the start. Nothing tops "Book of Boba Fett -> The Last Jedi -> Tales of the Jedi" We start with a tv-show based on a famous character which is a sequel to a movie & show we didn't watch yet, then go to part 2 of a war decades later, then watch a mini-series that covers important moments of two characters' lives that happen across decades which is already decades earlier than the last thing we watched. The whiplash of jumping into new time periods with different characters who clearly know each other & went on adventures we haven't seen is hilarious...but by the fifth time it's not as funny anymore and outright expected. That said, I agree this is the worst way to watch Star Wars. The only way it can be worse is by adding future projects in a few years.
You should rank every star wars movie by the 3rd proper noun to appear in the scrolling text at the start. For solo rank it by the 3rd proper noun in the intro text. And finally for Rogue one and clone wars rank them by the 3rd proper noun spoken.
This was a really fun series reminds me of The Presteige, if you weren’t “The Starman Guy” a really fun exercise for. Video would be to take Christopher Nolan’s Janky order of that film and see how poorly you can put those scene’s in order.
2:46 Resistance is better than the entire Sequel Trilogy (yes, I watched). Every sequel character that shows up in that show is better than their movie counterparts.
Watch the second movie of each trilogy starting in the sequels, originals, the prequels, then watch the 3rd movies, then first, then go spinoffs in any order, then shows revearse release date
The best part is, there will be people who watch part two BEFORE part one, making it an even more confusing watch order.
Well of course I know him…
@@turtlehelmmemes...he is me!
Given the nature of these videos, I almost feel dumb watching them in order lol.
I almost did lol
I'm currently in this exact situation

@omaralsherbini9667 truly a great idea

This order was so bad, it somehow made Luke and Leia kiss in a new hope.
She kisses him in the rope scene. But yeah the scene played is definitely the one from empire
@@jarmoliebrand2005 ahahaha
I can’t believe you didn’t include Clone Wars (2003) just to add that extra confusion about size, scale and location
It bothered me that he included Star Wars Resistance but not my favorite piece of Star Wars media

the true worst order: watching just the rise of skywalker
watch just resistance

Episode III goes into Episode IV, that still makes too much sense.
You’re right we should just ignore Episode IV and never watch it so that way nothing makes sense.

Worst order to watch Finding the WORST Order to Watch Star Wars:
Part 2 -> Part 1
Any viewing order that includes the sequel trilogy is a bad order to watch them.
I'm watching this part 2 before part 1
My favourite order to watch star wars in is:
1: 2d animated clone wars vintage
No separate TCW movie? 😢
Missed opportunity to not put Episode 3 right before 5
3:46 oh wait he shows up in rebels. I’m not gonna bring that up, though
3:40 the best part is you already showed Maul’s death in Rebels, so that’s been spoiled, too.
Timeline that is too confusing to warch
Feels like someone took all the Star Wars shows and movies and hit the random button. Also missed all the Ewok show and movies and Star Wars Droids.
2:01 I don't. Sandstorms suck.
Don’t disrespect Anakin’s peak rizz (1:52). Have you kissed Padmé/Natalie Portman?
Maul appears and dies in rebels so Solo wouldn't have been the watcher's introduction too him
You forgot to put the games in. Where would you put Jedi Fallen Order, Jedi Survivor, Republic Commando, KOTOR, KOTOR2, and SWTOR?
How do I know this is accurate? Answer: I kept thinking "No that's a terrible idea, it would ruin... ohhhhh right"
The worst order to watch Star Wars is by rearranging every frame in random order.
When I watched revenge of the sith for the first time, it was so depressing
Time lines. 👌🏽

If you watch rebels before solo, you should be quite familiar with darth maul.

What about the Ewoks movie? And the anime spinoff?

i recently watched resistance the visuals were straight ass but the story was decent at the best parts so overall not the worst ive seen 5/10
Rank a video on the 3rd time someone smiles
Isn‘t the scene where Luke and Leia kiss from ESB?
ACtually I'd debate you should switch Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back. Makes the kissing scene better, you know?
gonna be honest a new hope after revenge of the sith makes too much sense, find some of disneys absolute garbage to put in between it
But.. the clone wars movie...
4 day asking do a ranking of the 1'123 scene by the fith character who appears
