He does. For example that one guy with a bomb detonator who taunted Obi-Wan about the jedi code. It was stated in this video that he gave up finding all the kills there.

No, it’s just not important to the ranking because Vader is not alive to kill anyone in it. RoS is a fine film, but is very questionable in terms of trying to make coherent storytelling.
If anyone cares, in fallen order, Vader gets a few stormtrooper kills by yeeting them off a bridge along with a Trilla kill. And In survivor, her gets a couple of kills in Cere’s Jedi temple
Cmon, could’ve at least counted Tal Merrik and Admiral Trench as kills in TCW. Those kills were iconic. Edit: also the Son and the Father. This brings his total to 45 because the rest of his kills are droids. Still good ranked where it is

2:45 Vader only kills 6 Rebel pilots in the battle of Yavin. The 3 other Rebel pilots shown being killed are from the Death Star lasers or other TIE fighters. The Rogue One hallway scene might have some continuity errors but, it seems the total number shown is 13. There's 10 guys in the first part of the hallway but, one of them in the back seems to just disappear halfway through. After the door it looks like there's 2 guys at first but, then the camera changes and there are 3. 5:35 Wookieepedia says that that class of ship has a crew of 150 droids and 25 command staff (who are likely all Nemoidians). 6:06 No way it's 300 Jedi from him directly. We see 8 younglings in the council chamber. We see maybe 10 or 11 on the floor later found by Yoda and Obi Wan. Yoda says at least one was kill by a lightsaber but, we don't really know the rest. There's dead clones around too so they could've killed some of them. Then later we see him fighting 3 Jedi in the hologram security recordings (and see 1 get killed on screen). I'd guess the total number might be more like two or three dozen. 6:20 There are 13 separatist leaders but, there's also 2 Nemoidian guards so the total number is 15.
I really think the droids should count for the kills because the droids seem to have an ability to think for themselves I've noticed and there are definitely some that have some pretty distinct personalities.
Fun fact, the estimated total number of Jedi, younglings, and aides killed in the temple attack is ~9000. Even if we don't count all of those as his kills, uhhhh... He has a lot more than 300 in that attack lol
No that's Captain Needa. Han Solo lands the Millennium Falcon on the back of Needa's Star Destroyer and escapes undetected. Needa: I will take full responsibility and apologise to Lord Vader. He goes to Vader and Vader kills him as shown. Vader: Apology accepted, Captain Needa. I think Needa is actually kind of heroic. He could have blamed a subordinate and maybe survived, maybe got them killed too. But he decides to, as he says, take responsibility and protect them, knowing the price he will pay. A true leader. Of course he's an imperial officer, so probably a really bad guy, but at least he has some virtue.
@@sonoftheway3528 I feel like everyone who forsaw it had a responsibility; Vader, Palpatine… yes, Tarkin the most, but this was clearly a group effort.

Of course Vader turns out to be right, and his power of insight through the Force eventually helps him to redeem himself in RotJ.
