We stayed at French Quarter's for 12 days last October. Our entire stay was as peaceful, quiet, and relaxing as every outdoor shot in your vlog. It is the smallest Resort, but in my opinion the best Moderate by far. Our lines in transportation were never bad. The boat dock is literally 3 minutes from anywhere in the resort. Sassagoulas has the most amazing jambalaya and of course the only place you'll find those delicious beignets! Thanks for the great tour, even in bad weather. Brought back wonderful memories of the Magic!!! 👍😁
I went to visit a long distance friend in New Orleans and the first thing we did was go from the airport to the nearest Cafe du Monde. His biggest suggestions: get the frozen coffee because it's REALLY GOOD, and don't inhale when you take a bite of beignet otherwise you'll choke on all the powdered sugar lmao I also can't stress enough to not wear black when you get beignets and eat inside... bad idea. Also just don't wear black when you go to Louisiana it's stupidly hot even in February lol
Thank you! We have been to Disney dozens of times and this is about to be our first stay at Port Orleans! Your video makes me even more excited about this resort!
Stayed here September 2017 with my adult daughter. We were there when the hurricane hit. Absolutely loved this place. It was quiet not tons of kids. All the people were extremely nice and love how the pool has different sections. One of the workers in the food court overheard me saying that our return trip home got delayed by 4 days because of Irma and how it was not planned in the budget to stay the extra time. She came over to me and gave me 6 fresh beignets! I was so grateful. Such a nice thing to do. Thanks for bringing back these memories Dev 💜
Great video. We are staying here (from UK) in August and it looks stunning. I like how it looks like it is quiet and peaceful. Beignets are top of my snacks list!
They’re selling Café du Monde beignet mix & coffee? That’s from the original establishment in New Orleans. You should pick up some to make at home. Loved the Minnie Mardi Gras ears & the polo shirt. The alligators around the pool & the wrought iron railings create the NOLA mood. Appreciate you giving us the tour.
We had reserved Riverside in April then it changed to French Quarter. We are from south Louisana and looking forward to our trip. I may have to order those Minnie ears to wear to our Mardi Gras parades here. Thanks Dev.
Thanks for the great video! It looks like a pretty nice resort, both sides. Hope you have a wonderful trip to NOLA next week! You can probably pick up the same Cafe Du Monde Coffee (CDM) and beignet mix for a fraction of the price at a local grocery here! Lol!
We are trying to decide where to stay. I've stayed in music before which I loved. This time we are staying in animation the first week but we need a hotel for the second two weeks! This is top on my sisters list! Thanks for the review!
Easy to wake up at 5:00 AM?! Maybe if the house is on fire LOL I'm not a morning person! All my trips to Disney and I've yet to see the rope drop. But I've closed the parks down many a time.I could kill for beignets and Cafe duMonde now!
As always another great Resort tour. Wait till May when I'll be staying at Riverside. But I'll definitely be getting beignets. Main priority is the beignets. But I'm sure I'll be going back and forth between the two Resorts because I love them both. Can't wait for that trip maybe I'll get to meet you along the way. Take care!
As a Louisiana Native I have to say that DW's French Quarter is NOTHING like the real thing. The streets are too clean, the water don't smell, there's no crack heads asking you for money... It don't feel like home😢
Those were not real King Cakes. You can order the real thing on line from Paul’s Pastry located in Picayune, Ms. They are so good and come in different flavors.
Stayed here in 2015. Loved everything about it! Thanks for the tour. Brought back great memories

Ahh I work there! Saw you filming this video, love it!!
Do you all give free room upgrades?
Babe Ruthless really depends on the check in, it always depends on the concierge. Always ask!
Thank you! We have been to Disney dozens of times and this is about to be our first stay at Port Orleans! Your video makes me even more excited about this resort!
That's for sharing. We have stayed at Riverside and really liked it but wanted to check out French Quarter.

I love your videos! Keep up the great work, Dev!
Love this resort and I love the beignets they serve there-so good!
Loving all your Resort Tours. Keep up the great work. Thank you.
Just came across your TH-cam channel. We're staying at the French Quarter Dec. 2020. Thanks for sharing
Good tour, tks. Guessing it was quiet because your visit early January maybe. Tks
I live about an hour away from New Orleans, and the detail in this resort is pretty spot on!
Great video. We are staying here (from UK) in August and it looks stunning. I like how it looks like it is quiet and peaceful. Beignets are top of my snacks list!
Hope you had a great time!
Such a great tour! Can’t wait to have my first Disney experience staying here in just TWO weeks!!!!!
Loved loved loved this tour! Well Done👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We stayed there years ago. Our room was the farthest from the transportation, facing the parking lot. Some people brought lawn chairs.

Love that your head makes a hidden Mickey on the front shot
We love French Qtr!!! Our favorite place to stay...
Would absolutely love to stay here one day! Thanks for the great content!
We've stayed here 2 times and should have again in April. Looking forward to next year. Everything is within a few minutes walk.
Another great video Dev! Taking two trips this year! April for 5 days and then September for 14 days. Hope to see ya at some point dude.
Thank you for the video! We are excited to stay there this summer 😊
We stayed at French Quarter 2 years ago and even though we had a few issues in the beginning checking in, overall we loved our 6 night stay there.

That bike trail was a good long distance. I would like too rent the bike too ride. Thanks for sharing

Stayed there in 2007, loved it!,
Such a awesome voice!
Thanks.
Nice content.
Looking forward stay in French Quater in spring.
Greetings from munich.
We just switched from POR to POFQ for April because we couldn’t get a discount at POR. We loved POR!! Hoping we won’t regret the switch!
Great tour! Would love to stay there, just for the food alone!

Dammnn your voice is so calming! Can't wait to go back to French quarter next year and go to the food court because it was closed last time we went!
Erin Cocker well thank you so much !
Great tour, I’ll be there next year! 💕
Great video dev!
I like that laundry area in the middle of the pool and hot tub. You can dry your bathing suit once your done. 🤷🏾♂️
Loving these resort tours

Get me there NOW Dev! 😉 O.O.K 💙👌🏼
We prefer Riverside. I like the bigger feel and love those mansion buildings. And we can still enjoy the beignets at French Quarter if we want.
Can I just say I miss the Disney soap more than I can explain to people..... that smell does somethin to ya
A good somethin to my heart
How did they give your room away? What if you were from out of state?
On the time machine again...let's get your numbers up...
I agree with you 100%. Both resorts are very nice but Riverside is more peaceful than French Quarters.
Great resort tour Devin! I just saw how much it would cost to stay there and for me it is too much per night.
French Quarter was my daughter Veronica first choice. But we decided Pop Century to stay on budget
Did they remove the fountain from the lobby?
Best resort on property!
This is where we wanna go do you know which building was close to the main lobby?
What's happened to the water fountain when you 1st walk into the main building
You forgot the link to Riverside! Lol
Have you set a date
AJ
I love Beignets ❤️
Awww man.. we were just there last week. Miss that place already. Did you do the mask scavenger hunt?
Hey Dev where did you get that tshirt?
I'm from new Orleans and want those mini ears......XP
Prince Dev, are you team Riverside or Team French Quarter? 🤔
Definitely team riverside!
I dont know if anyone else commented this, but do you know that your thumbnail makes you look like you have Mickey ears!? LOL.
Love FQ.🍪
