Bless her heart , I love MaMa Sue ❤❤❤❤ I use either a small ladder or some kind of a handle like a net or rake handle just for balance , don’t laugh it works !!!!!! Try it , and keep making videos, we really enjoy them !! It’s so cool of you to take MaMa Sue with we just love ya’ll !!!!!!

Mr. Gene, I lost my pop to cancer a little over 2 months ago. He was one of your biggest fans. Pop was my fishing partner and we spent many a happy hour watching you on TH-cam. I have been wearing his hat that says " go fishing when you can, cause it's good FER yah "

We fished under an overpass bridge just like that on Lake Fork TX a few years back. Our guide set us up with Wally Marshall spinning rods that were only 5 ft long! I laughed at the short rods, until we got up under that bridge….perfect setup! A longer rod would end up breaking when it hits the underside of the bridge on the hookset.

Son I've never seen a crappie to big to eat....the bigger the better with any kind of pan fish 🎣 🎣 🎣
We used to drop Coleman lanterns off the bridge on long ropes down about a foot off the surface and fish under them with minnows. I can't imagine how many crappie we caught that way over the years. Big ones. White bass, too. We would be there from sundown to sunup catching them all night. Good times. We usually took a couple home to eat.
Thanks for taking us with you and Mama Sue. I'm thinking that big white crappie and the biggest black both qualify not just as slabs but "slab hawgs." lol

That was funny when Momma Sue was getting in that boat. Those were some great Crappie. God bless.
Richard, some of my fishing friends are not very nimble any more. One, also named Richard, made some removable hand supports which fit into sockets mounted into the boat. They're about 2' - 3' tall and make it very easy to step into the boat and steady himself when in. The supports come out and go into storage when everyone is in and before fishing begins. I'll bet you'd earn some points with Mama Sue if you built a similar setup.

Fishing with a Grandson at Allreds for panfish. We're using Berkley Crappie bites and having a blast. He caught a two pound cat fish on a 3 ft. rod with 4 lb line. Super excited! Would enjoy meeting you some day! Here for a week boat sitting.

I enjoy watching the videos, maybe one day I'll be able to afford a boat to fish. Been wanting one for years but bills always take priority and there's never anything left. But I get to watch others have fun :)
@Mr. Beav there's a river and lakes here - but everything is private near them. Even the public boat landings say no fishing now. I don't even know anywhere to bank fish anymore:(
