@@WalkingOnWater That's so funny with fishermen (at least in Cali) not two weeks ago had many saying oh no winter its going to get bad. Oddly last week or two been hearing a lot of talk oh October through December. We you're over there friend, and we're near San Francisco in California. That may matter, but seems we're both after Sunfish atm. Sure seems you know your fishing!

Hello I watched your incident on the Priceless Channel by mistake. The lady accused you of stealing and you handled this very very well. I don't agree with the police because if the shoe would have been on the other foot, there is no way they would have been like that to the other side. Frankly, to me, it seemed as if the police were no better than the lady that accused you of stealing. All I want to say is that you sure handled that with so much patience, grace and respect, despite the fact that they did not treat you that way. I don't fish but I am not part of your channel family!!!

@@SooSmokie ... lol.. no the water was 4 feet deep at the last step, that's why the boat motor could take off... if I was only in inches of water the boat would "bottom-out". Wouldn't be able to put the propeller in the water to move forward

I appreciate your support brother. The best place to find crappie at night would be around bridges. Other places are possible but it takes knowing how your fish migrate in what ever season your in. Starting out you just need to tie to a bridge, drop your lights and pay attention to the depth you see your bait. Then drop lines 2 feet under the bait. I hope this helps. Thanks 😎

Im not sure if it's legal to use a net on game fish... I throw a net on bait fish and sometimes game fish like crappie or bass end up in the net, I normally throw them back, besides it's hard to beat the rod and reel fights 👍

I can't take the credit for the $5 livescope video, I've been doing this since I was a kid, like 12 years old. I learned from my grandmother's oldest brother, he would bring back fish even without fishing gear. I've learned a lot back then and I'm still learning alot now. I come from a family of fish eaters so there's always a good fish fry going on... my closest lake is over 1 hour away so I can't say its close by.
I used to fish Falls lake a looong time ago. Now the lake is close but I think it's mostly alligators and weeds @@WalkingOnWater

Nice work,. What's your go to rod and reel for crappie,. Here in ky they are wearing them out on Popeye and green chartreuse 1 inch minnow power bait,. Try it and it works

I appreciate your support James, I got the lights off Amazon.. just search green fishing lights and it should pop right up. The white lights are actually cabinet lights from Walmart that I rigged, I'll probably show how I built it in the future... thanks again brother
I got a question brother. How do you choose where to set up and drop the lights? Are you looking for brush, brush with crappie on it, or does it need to have baitfish nearby already too? Or are you sitting up on roving schools of shad that have crappie already nearby? Appreciate the great video and keep sharing the good news my brother in Christ.
@@stevekeen7035 I look for shad flickering in the coves, alot of shad normally means alot of predator fish should be hunting them. I typically fish 3 to 5 feet deep at night 👍
