  • One of my go-to techniques in working with individuals is mindful self-compassion. As humans, we have a tendency to hold ourselves to tough standards, which often leads us to feel terrible when our humanity gets in the way. This tendency forms from a young age, and it is common to see children who are afraid to make mistakes or try new things. In this video, I share a tool for integrating this practice into work with children.

Hi, Rose! Thank you for your feedback. It is an absolutely much-needed topic. We can be so mean to ourselves even as we are being gentle to others.

Good morning! I am curious about the steps to become a registered play therapist. I just passed my CSW exam and would like to learn more about this option. Thanks!
