PS Waverley - Swanage to Solent Forts & Sandown Bay and return (via Ryde) - Tues 5th Sept 2023

A Day trip on PS Waverley - the world's last sea-going Paddle Steamer, from Swanage to Solent Forts & Sandown Bay and return
(Waverley had started her journey at Poole Quay and returned their in the evening, I boarded and disembarked at Swanage!)
Trip Highlights include:
Sailing past the Needles
Cruising along the Solent
Docking at Ryde on the Isle of Wight (First time Waverley had docked there in 10 years)
Viewing the Solent Forts & Sandown Bay
Returning to Ryde
Sunset Cruise back along the Solent, past the Needles and into Swanage Bay
A very enjoyable day graced with amazing Early September weather!
