Return ticket to Ryde - PS Waverley - 05/09/23

The Paddle Steamer Waverley made her first visit to Ryde back in 1978.
Shortly after the location was dropped from list for reasons unknown resulting in Sandown and Yarmouth. being the two destination locations on the Isle of Wight
With a full complement of passengers from Poole and Swanage PS Waverley returned to Ryde on Tuesday 5th September 2023. The first of, hopefully many more in the future?

Pete, thank you, a very interesting video. I love to see engines working. Have you visited the Museum of Bath at Work in Julian Road? If not, I can recommend it,it’s a fascinating place.
