  • Have you ever wondered what the different phases and cycles of a typical running training plan were? In today's video, I dive into how running training plans are typically structured and a few terms that can be used. Each training plan can differ depending on the coach who created it but there are general principles that are used in creating a well-made training plan. Understanding why certain workouts are at different times in your training plan can give you the confidence to tackle your upcoming race or just your running in general. Enjoy and happy running!!

    It would be great if you can show an example macro and micro training cycles consisting of various different runs each week. (in the form of a spreadsheet/calendar)
