Different things can cause vertigo. I've had it for the last 12 years maybe. It was before I got diagnosed with coeliac disease. I got it so bad once I was sweating, falling over and then threw up everywhere, it was the worst I got it. Since following my gluten free diet rigorously, I don't get it often anymore and I still put it down to getting "glutened" accidently when I do get it. heers Hi Trevor I can sympathise with you as I sufffer from it too I was so bad once I took myself to the docs and she had me turning over from side to another and I was almost sick it was so bad BUT she wouldn't give me any tablets just toold me to go home and rest! it took me around 3 days to get over it , Then it cleared up for about 6 months then came back BUT Iwent the docs again and this time still no tablets but a leaflet with exorcises turns out I was suffering from a BPV ( I think it is Benign positional vertigo) or something like that and it is a calcium build up in the ear canal It does flare up every now and then but the exercises do help , I also know when it is going to come on as my head feels "strange" and when I get into bed everyting spins as tough as I have 8 pints and I dont drink! anyway sorry for the long reply but I just wanted to let you know your not on your own Keep your pecker up Trevor Cheers
Vertigo is a great movie with Jimmy Stewart! I once read that a cure for vertigo is to go on a roller coaster. Maybe you could try that? 😁 Hope you’re in tip top shape soon!
Not the best reassuring visit to the docs but let’s hope the tablets do the trick and you feel better soon. I am just relieved you finally went to the doctors, as I bet Pat and Tracey are. Once you feel better you will be driving again but try and get some rest whilst you are confined to barracks. Do you have to wait until your tablets are finished before you can drive again?
No, there not antibiotics Susan, I can stop taking them when the symptoms clear up. The maximum is three days. I have to be getting desperate to go to the docs. I just want to give my body the opportunity to fix itself if it will.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun So pleased you gave in and got the help from the doc you needed Trevor. I hope you have a speedy recovery and you and Pat are back out on the road very soon enjoying your days out again Trevor. Take care xx
Its not that bad here in the sticks Trevor. We have a surgery in our village it has its own pharmacy, many of them do these days. Funnily enough we live in Norfolk ha ha. Hope its just a bout of verigo but do take care OK xxx
Ye, village docs etc are great, not as many people fighting to get access as there is in the city, it's just that most of the campsites we used were not on the edge of a village, but as Pat said we could always get a taxi into the village if I couldn't drive. I once had to have a tooth out when we were in Scotland, and I had that done in a small town.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun We have three lovely campsites nearby but I guess that's because of our location here in Norfolk. You take care Trevor & Pat xxx
Trevor, i feel for you. Do you think this was a result of the accident . I would suggest you both get out and about on a bus or coach trips. At least then you could see different places. We love watching your videos and enjoy especially when you are away somewhere ❤
It seems ages since we went out. We were supposed to be in Warwickshire this week, but I had to cancel it. There's no way I am riding on a coach with this virtigo, we just have to wait until it clears up.
Look up Labrynthiris and vestibular neuritis.. they are types of inner ear infection that affect your balance. They usually get better on their own within a few weeks , as I mentioned earlier... very similar to what you are describing.. My friend gets it from time to time and usually feels better after it's treated..
You have got what my friend had It’s called vertigo she goes somewhere I will have to ask her tomorrow and they do this manoeuvre and Osteopath could do it because the crystals they go floating around in your inner ear that’s what’s getting you off balance yeah husband has learnt the manoeuvre and he does it for her now if it comes back the doctor should’ve recommended that to you find a good Osteopath they would be able to do it and they drained sinuses because sinuses can make you dizzy as well but I can guarantee you as his vertigo it sounds so much like what my friend had just found your channel it’s great it’s like going to your house for a cup of coffee and a chat I’m originally from Wales so I love that I know we live in New Zealand so lots of love to you both and I hope you get this sorted quick because when we get old we don’t want to not be Able to drive our car ❤
Thanks Christine. So it's an osteopath that can do the manoeuvre. If it comes back, that may be my next move. Glad you enjoy our chats Christine. Other people have said that about our kitchen chats.❤
My dad has this same problem where he feels dizzy he is also pretty old he was never like this before covid though.. I'm not sure if its related to that or something.
Trevour it sounds a lot like your neck is causing your trouble,i think perhaps like you say it did more damage than you realise, perhaps it as a result of a whiplash injury. I wish you both well love your channel❤
New subscriber here. Have your ears been checked? It could be an infection. But, it could be a whole host of other things. I’d advise keeping a diary and keep pushing the doctor to investigate properly.
These doctors appointments are a bit ridiculous when you cannot mention more than one ailment , at my surgery you have to book a double appointment and if it’s more than two goodness knows what happens because I’m the sort of person that doesn’t go often but saves every ailment up to be dealt with in one go 😂😂 I think it’s more practical 🥴😂
Have you had COVID vaccinations by any chance?? Read a lot about them and the bad things what's happening to vaccinated people,I never had any jabs thank god

Exactly, but only to be confronted by a Recalcitrant Doctor.
Ménière's disease is an ear condition that can cause sudden attacks of vertigo (a spinning sensation). George
Listening to all these comments it's a wonder I am still alive George.😄
When i use to have our static at Reighton sands. If you needed to see a doctor if you were ill, the doctors in Filey would see you. Oh if anything serious, you would have to go to Scarborough . Hope these tablets help you. Hopefully when you see the other doctor to do with your claim. They might do some tests . Look after yourself, and well done on another target for your channel xx
Hey, thanks for the comment! That’s wild about the doctors! Appreciate the good vibes for the channel! Cheers!
Hope you are better soon, so you and pat can go on your travels again, these doctors are getting worse it would of taken seconds to look at that rash you take care both of you, see you tomorrow xxxx
Feeling fine at the moment thanks Jan.
Hopefully we will get off somewhere soon.
Tut tut, that would be against the rules Jan. She had the stethoscope on the rash, but still wouldn't talk about it.
I had vertigo few years ago, doctor gave me exercises, horrible, but cured me, take care ❤
Amazing how many people on here have had it, and still have it Fiona.
Hi there 👋👋👋. Hope the pills do the trick and you are feeling a lot better soon. Glad to see you are both coping well. Keep on smiling. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Hi Judy. I am feeling much better today thank you. ❤️
Not complaining ,,you lovely couple ,glad wife sat with you
👍
New subscriber here. I live in the USA. I imagine we’re about the same age. I hate vertigo (I’ve only had it once). The swelling of your arm from the insect bite sounded terrible. Glad the meds helped
I am 77 Richard.
Oh yes. The NHS saved my life that day.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun I will be 71 next month 👍
Delightful storytelling :) Your accent reminds me of Creature Comforts :)
Thank you. I don't know Creature Comforts. Our accent is Yorkshire.
Stay well!
Thank you Sue.
You make me smile ❤ beautiful couple …
That's nice Sue.❤
New subscriber lovely channel beautiful couple hope you feel better soon Trevor
Thank you Lisa, and welcome to our channel. ❤️
Take care Trevor, thought it sounded like vertigo 😉
To be honest I still don't know Lizzie.
heers
Hi Trevor
I can sympathise with you as I sufffer from it too I was so bad once I took myself to the docs and she had me turning over from side to another and I was almost sick it was so bad BUT she wouldn't give me any tablets just toold me to go home and rest! it took me around 3 days to get over it , Then it cleared up for about 6 months then came back BUT Iwent the docs again and this time still no tablets but a leaflet with exorcises turns out I was suffering from a BPV ( I think it is Benign positional vertigo) or something like that and it is a calcium build up in the ear canal It does flare up every now and then but the exercises do help , I also know when it is going to come on as my head feels "strange" and when I get into bed everyting spins as tough as I have 8 pints and I dont drink! anyway sorry for the long reply but I just wanted to let you know your not on your own Keep your pecker up Trevor
Cheers
Calcium build up tells me not drinking enough water, which I am guilty of Paul.
Thanks for this comment, that could explain a few things.
Vertigo is a great movie with Jimmy Stewart! I once read that a cure for vertigo is to go on a roller coaster. Maybe you could try that? 😁 Hope you’re in tip top shape soon!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm definitely taking your suggestion into consideration - who knew thrill rides could be therapeutic?
It seems such a long time since we did anything. Haven't started the car in over a week now.
👍❤️
Trevor, i feel for you. Do you think this was a result of the accident . I would suggest you both get out and about on a bus or coach trips. At least then you could see different places. We love watching your videos and enjoy especially when you are away somewhere ❤
It seems ages since we went out. We were supposed to be in Warwickshire this week, but I had to cancel it. There's no way I am riding on a coach with this virtigo, we just have to wait until it clears up.
Kingsbury water park is near to where we live.
That's it Lizzie. been a few times.
Look up Labrynthiris and vestibular neuritis.. they are types of inner ear infection that affect your balance. They usually get better on their own within a few weeks , as I mentioned earlier... very similar to what you are describing.. My friend gets it from time to time and usually feels better after it's treated..
I am feeling better already, it will be when I get out of bed in the morning that will test it.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun That's good. Glad to hear you're on the mend.
New subscriber here, ❤ lovely to meet you 😊
Thank you Poppy, welcome to the channel.❤
I think it might be your video called selling everything to live in a static caravan, that’s popped up on peoples feed.
Is that what did it Barbara?
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun Yes I think so. Although I have watched your channel before👍🏼
It sure has boosted our subscribers Barbara. Thank you for watching.
In balance of the eardrum. Menunadiese I believe. I Cannot spell it. I suffer with it and so did my father. George
Hey George, thanks for dropping that comment! It’s tough dealing with health stuff like that. Hang in there, you’re not alone!
Vertigo comes and goes.know your head movements to s top it
Hoping the tablets the doc gave me will clear it Marjorie.
Norwich is in Norfolk.......Did the G P ask for a urine sample? Pat, you are brilliant.
No. She is, and I love her.
OH my god my dr looks at everything.
It's just our stupid surgery Kathy.
My dad has this same problem where he feels dizzy he is also pretty old he was never like this before covid though.. I'm not sure if its related to that or something.
Ye, we all had that wretched jab.
Trevour it sounds a lot like your neck is causing your trouble,i think perhaps like you say it did more damage than you realise, perhaps it as a result of a whiplash injury. I wish you both well love your channel❤
I have no way of knowing that for sure Scotty, but maybe in time I will discover if that is the case.
Thank you for your well wishes.❤
My sister has just developed this the same as you . She wonders if it’s been caused by the Covid jab . Good luck with it marg x
Oh, I don't trust the covid jab Maggie, but we won't go down that rabbit hole.
New subscriber here. Have your ears been checked? It could be an infection. But, it could be a whole host of other things. I’d advise keeping a diary and keep pushing the doctor to investigate properly.
Haha, thanks for the tip! I’ll make sure to keep an ear out for any issues! Oh, and welcome to the channel Donna.
Ask about exercises you can do for vertigo. Best wishes!!!
Ok thanks! Chriss.
Do you take blood pressure tablets?
No, my blood pressure is perfect Tom.
it’s not ischemic transient attacks ?
I don't know Fiona.
😂😂😂....here l am in bed like an old man!❤😂
I don't often feel like an old man, but I did then. It is funny.😄
One fall could cause you a lot of damage : be careful Rest a bit
Ok Cathy.
I like to post your videos to a couple of my social media sites. Maybe that helps.
Thank you, that's very kind of you Debra.❤
At least you’ve gone and got checked over, that’s the main thing.
It might silence the demands for me to do that, and if so, it's worth it Russell.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun haha cheers Pat
❤
Call a physiotherapist she will show you head exercise to do to calm the vertigo
How do you call a physiotherapist Marjorie?
These doctors appointments are a bit ridiculous when you cannot mention more than one ailment , at my surgery you have to book a double appointment and if it’s more than two goodness knows what happens because I’m the sort of person that doesn’t go often but saves every ailment up to be dealt with in one go 😂😂
I think it’s more practical 🥴😂
No wonder there always booked up Linda, if you have to keep making separate appointments for different ailments that might all be connected.
You may have the latest variant of Covid, vertigo/dizziness, ears, stomach issues and covid - also headache, dry eyes
No I haven't John.
Have you had COVID vaccinations by any chance?? Read a lot about them and the bad things what's happening to vaccinated people,I never had any jabs thank god
No, we refuse them.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun thank god for that, well done
👍
You are trying to do too much instead of resting
Am i?
Cut back on your salt.
Wow, all the advice I get on here, if i listened to everybody I would be sunk without a trace.
Turn to Jesus He loves you, He is the healer of the body And savior of the soul, There is True Hope in Jesus, God protects Psalms 91, He is the God of miracles Acts 2:21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved Jesus alone saves Trust Him with your salvation John 3:16

Moreover Brethren, i declare unto you the gospel which i preached unto you, which also ye have received, and with wherein ye stand
By which also ye are saved, if you keep in memory what i preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain,
For i delivered unto you first of all that which i also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures
