Show suggestion: PDWs. This kind of went there, but it'd be cool to have a more focused discussion of the original "want", and where it went. Also, needs more Magpul PDR content. (Also, who were the firearm designers at Magpul 10 years ago, and where are they now?)
I love the idea of having trusted companies, but it's a list that has to be updated every few years. I'll avoid throwing out names that have dropped off, but FN hasn't and I really respect them for that. Winchester's name was in the mud, and now it has nice new chrome on it.
Absolutely love the in-depth technical talk. As a toolmaker and aspiring gun smith what are some good online sources for the technical aspects of gun manufacturing?
Speaking of WWII aircraft manufacturing. There are two airworthy B-29s still flying. I don't know how many were made, I think it was something like 4000 someone else may know. I don't know the quality. We can all agree Garands were nice.
0214Bub a large old plane with 4,000 units made is expensive to find parts after thousands of hours of flying. A M1 with 5,000,000 made (many can be scrapped for spare parts) is easy to run after a few thousand rounds.
laser guns? Forget it. Oh no, there are civilians nearby, so i cant fire my gun couse they dont have that fancy protective suit that saves me from all the reflections into my eyes and skin... Oh, enemy have thrown smoke grenade, and i can see them through my IR thingy, but i cant shoot them with that stupid laser... Rail gun on the other hand... With some other type of projectile, that dont penetrate 5 guys with their gear.

Sam Done Thanks! We try to continue to improve.
What a fantastic conversation. Covered a whole slew of info and history with smart commentary from those in the know.👍
Quick correction
AISI P-6 tool steel is approximate equivalent for Carpenter 158, not P-20.
I love these very very detailed discussions. The only thing I have to gain from them is an understanding of how things work.
Show suggestion: PDWs. This kind of went there, but it'd be cool to have a more focused discussion of the original "want", and where it went. Also, needs more Magpul PDR content. (Also, who were the firearm designers at Magpul 10 years ago, and where are they now?)
Is the roland interview modcast going to be put back up?
Bruh, Ian pulled up with the drip @ 4:23

When discussing the accessories like LBE we all know the best is the Soviet comrade he carries your rifle and ammo.
Verdun is a good WW1 game.
Karl reppin' 2600. Nice.
Thanks for taking the effort of uploading these after the live event. 2x speed sure makes it feasible, but then Karl is a little toooo fast :)

Cynical Corps totally agree.
Also I believe there are quite a few Consolidated Catalinas that are still airworthy. God how I want one.
What is the book Jordan mentioned?
rmaybach He obviously knows his shit but he seems to have a hard time putting his thoughts into words.
wasn't the USMC modcast going to be coming out this week?
Daniel Song addressed in the opening
Primary & Secondary Oh shit. I wasn't paying attention at the beginning. My apologies for sounding like an ass
What about the British made minute with 30 rounds in a bolt action.

Rail gun on the other hand... With some other type of projectile, that dont penetrate 5 guys with their gear.
Is he sitting in a sound booth? Please tell me he didn't buy that for his TH-cam show.
helio295 huh?
Primary & Secondary The gentleman that appears first appears to be sitting in a grey sound booth.
helio295 well, the main way this is distributed is audio podcast, so sound is the most important aspect...
