My dad went into a dementia spiral during the late 2019 early 2020 lockdown. My half brother and sister both parents in care homes due to Matt Hancock’s policy of stuffing homes with infected people to clear beds in the busted NHS. I Had to break lockdown and go up to London to try and care for 87 year old dad. 85 year old mum had complete breakdown. I didn’t sleep for nearly a fortnight as he was psychotic. No social services came despite nearly continuous screams for help. Social services broken too due to Tory cuts. I had a breakdown too and would have been sectioned if not for the covid surge - Epsom Hospital had run out of oxygen and every spare pair of hands was ventilating. Finally, after my husband was told to remove me for my own safety by our GP, dad got 2 to 1 24 hr care. Mum then became delusional. We had a days break. We went back to get her as there was no one to look after her. That 2 days was enough for a carer to bring in delta covid. Mum infected and we drove her home. 2 days later my father in law went in to respiratory failure from delta. Mum had 2 ambulances and had renal failure but they didn’t hospitalise as they said no beds. A day later I had seizures and ended up in BRI. Discharged a day later only to require another ambulance 12 hours later. Nearly died during 7 days in Weston Hospital Covid Ward. I was bleeding too heavily from my chest for ventilation. Huge amounts of steroids. My father in law died within a week. My father succumbed to covid brain haemorrhages 8 months later. My mum has long covid and kidney failure. I have long covid and can’t work. We’re all traumatised and then we find out that boris was partying the day my father in law died. I am not a hateful person but I hope they all suffer horribly. Matt Hancock deserves to be a human rag doll.

It's just a straight up fact at this point. Both should be on trial/in prison, and Sunak should be under investigation for mishandling public money (£37b to Serco for a failed app, and £30b written off for Covid fraud to cover corruption.) My father died in the pandemic, he's not in the death tally because he was one of the people shipped out of hospital to a care home so couldn't get the treatment he needed in time. If the Government had responded as quickly and robustly as other island states (e.g. Australia/New Zealand) on a rough calculation 2 in 3 people who died could be alive today. Matt Hancock's pathetic attempt to curry favour through a games show (while still sitting as an MP!) is disgusting and demonstrates arrogance and the lack of self awareness and total lack of remorse or responsibility that we now come to expect of this morally corrupt Tory party.

Putting Hancock in this show was ill advised by ITV. At best it's an attempt at redemption , resurrection and forging of a new career and its worse this show will offer public humiliation and castigation as the still hurt people at home watch his distress and hopefully painful experiences which will not remove our anger or stain he left on the British public. His presence in the group was like a lingering bad odour people tolerate and learn to live with.
