    £8 million is a piffling amount when compared £37 billion (yes £37,000,000,000) that was supposedly spent on track and trace.
    It makes you wonder how this astonishing sum was used, and if we as citizens are entitled to have a copy of the money trail….

    • @TalesOfWar
      @TalesOfWar ปีที่แล้ว +32

      What makes the track and trace thing even more insane is that we HAD a system that WORKED! It was literally among the best in the world, that was set up during the SARS epidemic. The government canned it a year or so before COVID to save money, then had to quickly reinvent the wheel when it turns out that maybe it was a bad idea and such a thing is actually useful to have. And it didn't work, because they threw the money at the wrong people. But hey, their friends and donors got a nice chunk of our money out of it.

    The London stock exchange is no longer the most valued in Europe. Paris is more valuable now. The Tories claim to know about economics but have driven our country down into the ground. They boast about the high employment in the UK (aka all British people in employment) in the middle of a labour shortage and cost of living crisis, their solution is to exclude foreign workers who would enable the economy to function, plummet the value of the pound and pull us out of the EU. Absolute morons who would not have gotten anywhere without their privilege and private schooling.

    • @CW-om2qq
      @CW-om2qq ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not against the principle of some form of national ID, but the money, time and effort wasted on this with the requirements creep (by Tory & particularly Labour in the past) on unproven technology is astounding. Don't see its value for voting unless it's long established. Maybe the thing to address is what it gives for the (increasing) price. Could just buy in a system from, say, Germany or France, or anywhere which uses ID 'successfully' without British involvement.
