    Always best to have a Plan B, C, D or even E for the Great British Weather!🌧Having only ever seen the inside of the NEC Birmingham it was good to see some other bits up there. Kitty's🐱 seems to be a whole lot better than the Kent Cat Cafe's I've been to. The one's in Herne Bay & Tonbridge could do with an upgrade judging by the surroundings & food at the Birmingham example! Looked fab there. You two always make me smile on your travels 😊😊 x J x

    What a shame it rained, I like Birmingham, always something going on. You certainly didn't let it put you off and the Kitty Cafe, who would have believed that?????😆😆

      It is a shame it rained but living in the UK you can’t let that stop you! Loved the kitty cafe 🐱

    If you return, there are great bars and restaurants around Colmore Row and Bennetts Hill. This area by the Town Hall and Council House has some great Victorian architecture. The Jewellery Quarter has a couple of interesting museums set in the old factories which give you a flavour of the old industry in the area. The are also many good places to eat in that area too.

    I hope you are on the mend Josh ? Were your cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 miffed, that you were slagging around with other cats ?
    How did you find the vibe of Birmingham? Did you find the locals friendly, or cranky? Would like to return to Birmingham, in the future?
    Jason , did Josh eventually let you in the bed 🛏️, or did hold up in a chair 🪑?

      Finger has healed nicely but I don’t think our cats mind as long as we come home and feed them 😂
      We enjoyed Birmingham, it had a chilled vibe and the people we interacted with were friendly and helpful 😊

    Looks like a cool place. Shame about the weather, honestly what's happening with our summer. I bet as soon as I go back to work and the kids go back to school it will be blazing hot. Anyway you don't seem to let anything dampen your days which is really refreshing, I definitely need to take a leaf out of your book and be more positive 😂 x

      It far exceeded our expectations even in the rain. There are many preconceptions about places and we are finding most of them to be false!

    Awww - that was so much fun to watch! Y’see, it did piddle down - all day, quite hard - and it did put the kybosh on your “plans” etc, but it enabled you to do things that would have ordinarily not been on the JJExtra “Let’s ‘do’ Birmingham” Tourist Trip List! I mean, Kitty Cafe - I could not have resisted that (oh… is there such a thing as a Puppy Dog Cafe??!! 😲😲😎 - head and heart would 🤯) and then I wouldn’t have wanted to leave … and that food there!😘 The Sea Life Centre and the Pengis ❤️ another reason to just stay inside - and then you tease and torment your viewing subscribers with pictures and descriptions of delicious looking Chinese sweet meats and Josh eating one! You are too cruel!
    I have never been IN to Birmingham - I’ve been through it, around it and underneath it but have never stopped to visit the City itself…I now think I need to give it a whirl!
    Hate to correct the JJExtra dialogue (unless I heard you incorrectly 🥺) Westfield is the biggest shopping centre in Europe now, with jolly old Bluewater (my local and a place I know, that you know, coming in at a close second)
    Just a quick question - have you “done” Chester at all?

    • @JJExtra
      @JJExtra  ปีที่แล้ว

      Can’t let the rain ruin the fun now can we? A puppy dog cafe sounds cool but chaotic 😂
      The Bull Ring is the largest ‘inner city shopping centre in the Uk’ with Westfield and Bluewater not being inner city sites 😉
      We have done Chester, the video is on the channel but we need to get back and do an updated one!

    • @weedle30
      @weedle30 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JJExtra I stand corrected on the biggest shopfest in da world (well, GB 🥺) …. Is the Trafford Centre in Manc an “inner city” one? Because that’s pretty hoooge too!
      We are “thinking” of going to Chester - hub to see all the historic parts of the City - me? I want to spend the whole day in Chester Zoo!!

    • @peterwilliamallen1063

      Sorry but the Birmingham Bullring along with Grand Central which just one Shopping Mall now under one management joined together by a Bridge with shops on plus it's Rag and Fruit and Veg Open Market is since it's rebuild one of the biggest City Center covered Shopping Malls in Europe

    • @peterwilliamallen1063
      @peterwilliamallen1063 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just seen the bit on the video and they are correct, the Bullring/Grand Central is the biggest City Center indoor shopping Center in Europe. Both Westfield and Blue water are not in a City Center they are out of Town shopping centers and not in the City of London.
