It's weird because my pharmacist said there are no known interactions between Nitrofurantoin and alcohol. It also says nothing about alcohol on the warning label.
It’s starting to get very hard to go without my usual one glass of wine with dinner. I am on ximino, an extended release version of minocycline for the next 3 months. What are your thoughts? Thank you
you get very sick. Vomiting, chills, etc. My Dad it taking it and he wasn't really paying attention to using alcohol products. Like body lotions, mouthwash, hand sanitizers, etc. He felt awful until he realized and now he pays attention to it... he's doing better, obviously. He didn't drink any but it still made him feel terrible. Some people are more sensitive or less.
What about plain old penicillin? I’ve been on it for five days because of a tooth abscess and it’s not working. I drink apple cider vinegar for health reasons and wondering if that is problem

Ive been bitten by a dog like 3 days ago, and he bited me like half cheek and half lip, got 9 stitches and i have to take 2 Dalacin C (300mg) a day. I didnt drink for like 3 days, and my question is, can i or can i not drink one glass of wine ? and for the rest of my days til i get my stitches out i wont drink anymore. Is it okay or not ? (Sorry if my english isnt as good as some people.)

Depends on what antibiotic and the dose. But if it's just one beer after 7 hours it should be fine :).
