I have always admired Nell Carter. She was a wonderful actress. I remember her in the film version of Hair. She didn't have a big role but she was so memorable. The Grass Harp is one of my favorite movies. The idea of the grass harp brings tears to my eyes thinking how our loved ones that have passed never leave us. God bless Nell Carter, a talented and beautiful woman!

What a beautiful woman. My brother in law was her driver. If you have seen you need to watch again. While she was waiting for call my brother in law played Indian pocket. She loved rock n roll. My sister cooked her turnip greens, cornbread with a pumpkin pie. We are white but was told nothing about color. She was a beautiful friend to my sister and family. She never showed anything about color and we didn't know anything about racism. She sat out of filming until they brought my bother in law back to her personal driver. He told me that she was the most pleasant and beautiful woman he ever worked with.

Nell I look forward to spending time with you in heaven. Along with King David, Paul, Mary,. I understand Nell. I too grew up in B ham. During the busying days. We were uneducated and the dark skin were afraid. That to me caused alot of mental issues but then Jesus Christ came into my heart ❤️
