  • This video is an COMPLETELY UNBIASED RV REVIEW of the construction techniques for the 2020 ‪@WinnebagoRVs‬ Navion. We spent tonnes of time gathering research from many sources and then went to the Calgary RV Expo to show it to you. Lots to learn here and we figure it out as we go. Sometimes our research doesn't always match what we see. When things are amiss we have to do some investigating to give you the best information we can and we hope you will share your thoughts and factual information as well. You will find specific information regarding the construction techniques for the floor, roof and walls as well as the ‪@mbusa‬ chassis, axels.
We filmed this review at the Guarantee RV section of the Calgary RV Expo in February, 2020. If you would like to take a look at their stock too you can check them out at: www.guaranteer...

Navion/View 24D definitely on my radar! Great kitchen for the size of rig, decent storage for the size, two separate seating areas (big plus), a choice to sleep above the cab or on the Murphy bed, and not too much for traveling solo (okay when someone else is along for a week or even for a month).

Yeah! We're glad you like it. We will look for that model to do a review of. I think we would like it too with the Murphy bed. Thanks for watching.

I like it, Winnebago makes a quality product. I do wish it had a more powerful engine, the cargo carrying capacity is so low with the Mercedes. Great review as always, thanks!

They do use up a lot of the ccc with housing weight and it is something to look for when buying. Good point. Thanks for sharing.

Where the roof and wall join seems to be an issue and something to watch going forward. The roof construction on used units is also a question in my head.

In any structure, including all rvs, a joint is for sure a potential problem area to be monitored. Most manufacturers do not change their roof construction methods. They may change a material used as new, better, longer warrantied products become available but the general construction and materials stay the same. So the roof construction on a used product will most likely be the same the as the same model new product. That being said when an RV has been in production for 30 or 40 years you are going to see changes in construction from the current day model. But if the used RV you are looking at is even 20 years old and still useable we'd have to say the manufacturer did a pretty good job and the previous owners took very good care of it. When looking at a used RV the roof is an important area to inspect for damage and maintenance issues. Time, weather and proper care and maintenance will always show in the roof. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
