- FAQ:
Q: What is "The Lucky 15":
A: A little bit of a challenge I threw in for myself with this game where the units that get to stay alive for the individual gaiden chapters of this game are randomly generated for each split but I have to make it so no generic units get on the roster. For the purposes of this playthrough still being general full recruitment I may bend a bit and go down the list where the likes of Caeda and Bantu could potentially fall under on the randomized list and start from the bottom to keep them alive or outright re-roll for specific splits of the game. It dosen't matter if a unit was doing well prior to rolling time for the split, if I like or dislike a certain character, if a unit is among the best in this game, once I get a valid list and they don't make the cut, they will be killed off in the split of the game they don't get rolled (Forgot to save my randomized list for this specific chapter but will do so for the next gaidens).
Q: Is this done on the full content patch that has the prologue playable on hard mode, Norne recruitable without having to kill another one of your units, All gaidens unlocked without having to kill your own units, and incorporating the wifi shop items into normal gameplay:
A: Yes for the sole purpose of getting the wifi items.
Q: If Norne is recruitable now without having to kill someone else, why did you kill [Omited for spoilers sake]:
A: I'm still going to still generally treat recruitment and gaiden chapter unlocking like the base game for some thoroughness.
Q: Why not H5:
A: While I have beaten H5 in the past, I feel like I generally already had my fill with that mode as it stands and this is also being done for recording sanity where I don't have to potentially reset as much and re-record.
Q: How come the audio went a lot more quiet during the later half of Prologue 4:
A: If I had to guess maybe it might have to do with the fact I wasn't wearing headphones when recording that section.
Q: Any reason for generally no commentary:
A: Commentary could be a thing as this series progresses and maybe some episodes could be post or live voice commentated but as it stood with this episode, I was really unhappy with how my commentary was going. I think the description much like FE7 and 6 will provide my general thoughts.
Q: You've done FE7 and 6 do you plan to do FE8:
A: FE8 is generally one of my least favorite FE games when I think about it so it is very unlikely that I would attempt to do that game as I highly doubt I would be enjoying myself.
Onto the actual thoughts of this prologue in this patch, the first half of it on H4 was easy enough but the 2nd half set can prove to be an ass kicker if you aren't careful with enemy crit potential and checking to see for doubles.
Also this being one of the only few times enemy soldiers are around makes me sad that there isn't a soldier/halberdier reclass option for this game/ playable soldier/halberdier for this game :(
Prologue 4 forces you to give up one of your units besides Marth in order to continue onward. You can’t beat even a single knight as they all have silver lances. I’d give up one of your cavaliers for this. I think Frey might be a good choice, but I’d definitely part ways with a cavalier.
