2 months prior to the release of this video that path had just undergone a major storm washing sections away requiring it to undergo some repairs. So no doubt that made your journey even easier. From what I seen in May, even OUR TRD's would have found some challenging terrain in stock form. Though, nothing shy of the 9 foot wash outs would have stopped you.
Yes you turn off of 69 onto county road 559 and that’ll lead you directly to Medano Pass. Alternatively you can enter the pass from the park. Hope you enjoy!
Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. The trail they went on is called Medano Pass. I've have a bone stock 2016 4runner SR5 as well 4x4 (no rear diff lock) and went thru that trail as well before. Yes 4runner is very capable off road.
I kept waiting for the "Offroad" part of this trail. It was just a road with a few puddle crossings! I was going to take my Tacoma on this trail, but I might just save a little gas and take the wife's Kia Soul! Hahahaha.
That's a pretty dog
Dude I took this in a stock ranger 2002 lol. So much fun.
Looks like a fun trail. Very nice scenery around you. 4 runners are awesome. Enjoy it.

Lol we get it you have a TRD. Maybe he also just had the balls to use his vehicle? 🤷♂️
I did this trail last year in a stock height Crosstrek with Toyo AT2s lol.
Would you mind dropping a pin or show somehow where you began this route? Was it a turn off from Hwy 69?

@@MizeraAdventures Thank you!
Hey Chase I know dumb question .. but what kind of sunglasses are you wearing ?
Not a dumb question! They are the Ray Bans polarized Erika style sunglasses.
Did you need to air down your tires?
It definitely helped in the sand.
What are you using to seperate behind the front seats? i need to get something like that for my rig!
That’s what “stock” 4runners are designed for…. Lol 😂
Why does every off road video have to play annoying techno/dance music
I know it’s over a year later, but hope you have ditched the terrible stock tires by now.
I did indeed ditch the tires! If you check out the other videos on my channel you can see all the mods I’ve made to the vehicle so far.
Where is this at?

Agree. This is a normal dirt road. I’ve drive. Worse tar roads in Mexico
