1 Hour Locomotive Ride on Pere Marquette 1225!

Merry Christmas! For Christmas we have a 1 hour train ride on Pere Marquette 1225. On a perfect Saturday Morning on December 4th, 2021 we are on board the Pere Marquette 1225 for the trip between Owosso and Ashley, Michigan. Today we have mounted an Insta360 cam on the nose of 1225 and will be getting most of the trip between the two cities. Unfortunately the camera did die about an hour into the trip, but I still was able to get some great footage of the run!

Look at those shiny rails! 😃I'm not too far from Ashley. Been there a few times but no trains around. How often dies the Pere Marquette run through on thus line? I know the GLC operates on this same line. I also been to Elsie a couple times. No trains. Thanks for sharing. What a beautiful day and view.
