People complain about Antoni looking bored. I feel like he's just authentically himself. He's not trying to put anything on. He speaks when he has something to say. Nothing forced.
I think he likes men.. yes, but he just not a Rupauls Drag Race watching, heel wearing, "honey" saying, rainbow flag slaying kinda guy so he probably feels a little out of place. Even in the QE episodes he seems a little detached. Or maybe I'm just projecting lol. I don't know, I feel his pain. PS. his style this new season is on 🔥. Who ever took over that. Call me.
Antoni is so underrated and talented. Like a degree in psychology, speaks 3 languages, acts, cooks, has an understanding of the service industry, handsome. i could go on, but seriously people should start throwing more respect on his name.
As a straight white guy that struggle with the idea of masculinity and what makes me happy is a debate that comes up often in my life. These five men have been a major influence for accepting my interests that I used to worry were too effeminate and feared the judgement of others. They reaffirmed the fact that I need to be myself to be happy. I’ve never gotten this many likes and comments. Thank you all so much.
25:55 Antoni literally lifting Tan up off his feet while hugging him simultaneously broke and then healed my heart a million times over, oh my god. I love their friendship soooo much.
I didn't think I could love Bobby any more than I already did but jeez, hearing him speak so openly about his past got me. So much f***ing respect for the guy.
15:36 can we start a petition to have extended cuts of each episodes, with all, ALL the scenes they filmed. I want to see that sushi/dating scene with Antoni!
I'm late for the comments, however I want to add I'm a 63yo grandma,in a really red state and I love these boys so much. They are amazing. Every show I say I think I love one the best, but then I think about it and I realize I love all of them for the special ppl they are and the talents and love they bring. Live your best lives, boys.
I'm in a very similar place to what Bobby went through. I'm a closeted lesbian in a super conservative christian home and environment. I'm going to church and hearing people clap when the pastor says that he'll never preform a gay wedding. Hearing Bobby talk about how hard it was for him, but being able to see where he is now is so incredibly inspiring. I feel such a connection with him. Good on you, Bobby.
Devyn - I'm a straight Christian woman but can no longer be a part of the evangelical church community because IMO they do not reflect the love of Jesus to me anymore. I cried watching the episode featuring Bobby and know that homophobia especially in the church is not what pleases God. Love you sister.
do you have a close friend or an ally you can trust to talk to about how this makes you feel? i can only imagine how terrible it must make you feel to be surrounded by those that do not accept your way of life .. I am so sorry, and please keep it close to your heart that one day you will find the chosen family you need like Bobby has!! 💛
meezergurl: Thank you! That means a lot! Madeleine: Thankfully I have a wonderful group of friends that I've found, many of whom are in the same situation as I am. I also have a fantastically supportive girlfriend who I can't appreciate enough. It is hard to deal with this in my home/church life, but my friends make it a little more bearable. Thank you for your sympathy!
Hang in there! I have so much respect for all you are going through. I have experienced homophobia and hatred before, but talking about it with the people who understood me and loved me helped me. I know you can make it through this!
Karamo's acknowledgement of their privilege(s) was so authentic and important. I think what QE does best is reimagine what masculinity really could look like. Thanks for all you do guys!
Jonathan dresses like every four year old having a fantasy moment- giant shirt, towel for long hair, and a pair of heels and i LIVE FOR THAT OH MY GOD.
I love Antoni. He is so eloquent, has worked hard and paid his dues! And seeing him tear up about Anthony Bourdain...I was right there with him. All of these men are amazing, but Antoni is my favourite.
1:02:10 love when Jonathan and Antoni both wipe a tear for their lovely friend Tan. Each of these men have so much to offer us all and I am so appreciative to be a part of this, even as a bystander!!
One of the best interviews I've ever watched. The interviewer did a great job with the questions for the most part. After watching every episode of the show and every interview I can get my hands on, I just fall more and more in love with the Fab 5. Watching these five compassionate souls connect with each other, with their audience and with everyday people gives me a little bit of hope in this bleak world. Ahh I love them!
Cant believe i just watched a 90 min video without pausing or skipping or being bored. I could hear them talk all day long. They are smart, funny and amazinggg
omg, same! I’ve typed queer eye on youtube coz I can’t get enough of them and sorted them from oldest vids and started binge watching all interviews prescons. etc. I’m stoked that there’s still a lot of videos from “one year ago” left to watch! haha
I have to say that I fell in love with Fab5 instantly and have never felt more understood and connected just watching you. Your audience is worldwide and touches 40 something straight married woman too 😘. Your words are healing. Your values are diversity, compassion and supportive and translates to all humanity. Love you.
How anyone could hear that Getting Curious episode, hear the tears in Tan's voice and how hard it is for him to choke the words out and then attack him for not talking about it enough is just unbelievable to me. It's clear that there's a lot of pain there and he has every right to talk about as much or as little as is comfortable for him. Just because someone is marginalized does not mean they owe you their life story.
I love this conversation. It gave such in-depth explanations to some things they had previously mentioned in interviews. Great questions all around and very well hosted/moderated. Great job.
Wow, what Karamo says about not being able to beat hate with more hate is so perfect. I feel like that is really the reason millennial men have a higher distrust of LGBT+ people than they used to. There is a large group of people ready to call out and ostracize anyone who displays anything less than full wokeness. People like Tom from the first episode who harbor no ill will towards homosexuals but who lack understanding and say things like "who's the husband, and who's the wife?" are being attacked for their ignorance rather than educated. That alienates them and pushes them towards actual hardline homophobia.
I definitely 100% agree with Tan that everybodys fight is different. Everyone fights differently. Tan's progression and struggle is his. Pressure from his community is an enormous weight that hes still figuring out how hes gonna carry. But that doesnt mean hes not fighting. Love you, Tan.
Amber Lou agree with you, I actually liked the fact that they are being themselves and sharing experiences when talking to those they are helping. Their sexuality doesn’t define them it’s a part of who they are.
I really do see them as more than 5 experts fixing peoples lives. I see there big hearts and bright minds. With K and J bringing up culturally relevant stuff outside of the lbtq+ community and outside of the show. I see the change they want to make from their struggles and thats what i think is the most beautiful thing ever. I cried and laughed soo much during this, it was really quite beautiful.💖
1:00:50 Not gay enough? "You have no idea how much pressure I'm under." Tan is so fucking brave. In his culture they put gays to death. He 's probably received death threats from so many people. But holy shit, he's literally changing the world from coming out. And saving so many lives too.
I've just retired & watched both seasons and I want to be all their Mamas❤️❤️🙌🙌 I'm 61, bi, with a straight son but all his bff's are gay/bi. We adored the original Fab 5 but these guys......omg I absolutely love love love them & all they do both on the show & in their lives. Bucket list new addition: hug Jonathan & Karomo🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 Now I'll binge last 4 seasons Drag Race👏👏
You know you're watching an interview of freaking awesome people when it's more than an hour and a half long, and when it ends you just want hours more :'D I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH
I know this video is a bit older now and everything so 92 probably won't see this but it would be great if you could add proper CC (closed captions) to you videos. It would make the world of difference to me and many other people in the Deaf community if we could watch content as wonderful as this without struggling to understand what's going on or if the autogenerated captions are correct. Thank for this video though I love Queer Eye and the Fab Five are amazing xx
The trauma of internalized hatred caused by your upbringing is so difficult. Bobby really got to me talking about having to face the filming for that episode. I really wish the producers could have been more accommodating but it sounds like the episode spurred a lot of good conversations and even let him face a few of his negative emotions. I don’t want these men to have to martyr themselves but I’m happy they allow it because it’s made this iteration of Queer Eye so undeniably contemporary and relatable. I’m so happy to get to know these men
1:00:43 When Tan shows strength with vulnerability and Karamo grabs his arm for comfort, as to say " I'm here; you're not alone" IS LIFE!! 😍😢 #BitchTakeABow
can we petition to make every episode AT LEAST 3 hours long, cause I´m so down to watch Antoni and Skylar out for sushi, 30 min long conversations with Tamyee like please
Such a fantastic group. They are all fantastic in their differences and love them all. Also hearing Antoni talk about loving his straight best friend almost set me crying at work, I've been in the middle of that for a few years now and just cant dig out.
It’s impossible to not hang on Karamo’s answers. He’s such and engaging and eloquent speaker. All of his experiences and the way he’s internalized everything he’s observed and learned present so clearly when he talks. He’s got this natural leader quality so I shouldn’t be surprised but it really is a treat to hear how natural his thoughtful responses are.
this cast has brought more depth to the show. no shade to the OGs, they're incredible and made this reboot possible. but this Fab 5, focus much more on the inside of the person rather than just external. each of them, through their own specialties, find ways to incorporate positivity, confidence building, acceptance ' digging deep, problem solving, etc. i mean even bobby takes all of that into account just when doing the house. he finds ways to confidence build, teach organization and motivation solely through the way he chooses to redo the homes (like deciding to move the 30yr old out of the bedroom next to his parents and into the basement). PLUS a lot of the depth of the show comes just from watching the relationships and friendships of the Fab 5. watching their show is like getting a shot of sunshine and positivity haha. truly it is. it's just lovely. and they were PERFECTLY cast 👍❤️☺️
As an old, straight, white lady, just have to say I LOVE THESE GUYS! And I love the show! Their love, their joy, their light, their compassion shines through!
I love them so much. This show is definitely bigger than it seems. Yes, we are grown-ups, yes we have to deal with our lives, with the consequences of our choices, yes, yes, but we also need support, and someone's hand when we are feeling down. Who wouldn't love for these beautiful human beings to come to them and say they are worth loving, that they can make it, that everything is gonna be alright. And it doesn't matter what age, race, gender, sexuality, beliefs or whatever, we just want to be loved.
qaz111 pad Of course I can't be sure, it's just a feeling... like when he was being vulnerable at the end everybody just moved to another topic right away...
I agree, I get that feeling too! But at the same time, based on my personal observations, I think it's likely that, how to say, unlike Karamo and JVN being more involved in political topics and have more strong opinions about many things, Antoni seems to be afraid he might say the wrong things or get emotional, making him appear as if he's relatively ignorant or clueless, so he tries to listen more and use more time to gather up his words carefully before he speaks (unless it's about food that he's passionate about), and in turn making him less involved in the interactions and other Fab 5 members trying to cover for him so his burden of pressure can be lessen. You know what I mean? You can see one example from the The Wendy Williams Show interview with them... Honestly I relate to him in that regards if that's the case, I got told I'm clueless or not gay enough when I'm not as aware or knowledgeable in certain topics as other gay people so I decided to keep quiet and just listen sometimes, topics like Drag race, celebrity news, etc. As you can see, Antoni actually doesn't really watch Rupaul's Drag Race, Tan too.
i have to disagree. as he said, he's in a public solitude. so i feel like that's just how it is. it looks uncomfortable for others point of view but i think antoni really is just comfortable like that. and everybody is respecting that. and i think the moderator does a good job of including everyone in the conversation.
I am almost 57 years old mother of 2 young very straight men, for whom I’d kill and I’d die. Born in Armenia with all “machismo” clichés, lived for 25 years in Canada - oui, Antoni, Vivre le Québec!) and for the past 5 years living in holy land called California. I love every one of you - smart, sophisticated, eloquent, professional, sensitive, brave, talented, kind people. Watching your show is a turning point for anyone, witnessing your involvement in different aspects of this hardship called life is invigorating. Having learned about all issues, pain, “blood, sweat and tears” you went through in your young age... just know guys, it should be a great pleasure for any normal woman to say loud and proud about each one of you- That’s my son! Please don’t change, hoping so much that the stardom won’t turn you in something I wouldn’t like to see. Thank you lots))
can I just say. I love this show because of the connection. men, women, trans, straight, bi, gay.. I don't care. the struggles of emotions, mental health or relationships are universal and you guys always focus on that and it's admirable. I am especially partial to the episodes with animals because I love dogs but besides that I love every episode.
As far as the niche thing goes I am a straight cis male and I love this show and the current Fab 5 as well as it’s predecessor and the OG Fab 5. My mom watches it and I know several other straight people that love the shows as well. Anyone who says that the LGBTQIA community are the only ones that watch this are ignorant. This is such a great show about compassion, acceptance (both of oneself and others), positive change, and growth.
Ugh I so wanna be there too ffs... Anyway, seeing how the Fab 5 being more vulnerable and sharing their struggles and journeys than they are in the series, it really reminds us that they are just as hurt and damaged as many people like us too despite their usual appearance of confidence and positivity. They are brave, they understand love, they are learning to be better etc, the tv sshow isn't just about the heroes, but about the Fab 5's journey too, as we can all see that they are learning and healing their wounds too in this journey while helping out people! I wanna give all of them hugs and kisses! Idk about other people but they are inspirations to me and I feel like they indirectly encourage and help me out in my own journey. Thank you very much Fab 5!
Brilliant video, coming from a straight male these 5 have changed my outlook on life and cant stop watching them talk openly and confidently about so many different issues. The show is incredible too.
People complain about Antoni looking bored. I feel like he's just authentically himself. He's not trying to put anything on. He speaks when he has something to say. Nothing forced.

Don't over think it. It's not that serious. Practice mindfulness and that really helps get over the hurdles you talk about.
I love how the moderator let them speak this felt very organic. I almost forgot this was a panel. Bravo 👏🏽
The moderator was VERY GOOD
Phillip Picardi won't EVER let us down trust me.
@@asprilladt He did an excellent job, did it perfectly
absolutely phenomenal moderator and host
It's great to see strong gay Polish, Jamaican and Muslim representation, three communities where being gay is less accepted
Antoni isn't gay... he is fluid. But in general you are right
Conservative religious rural Missouri is hardly welcoming either, unfortunately.
I know right!

Bobby & him just makes me cry..
Yes! Expecting EVERY queer person to be an activist is unrealistic and insensitive
25:55 Antoni literally lifting Tan up off his feet while hugging him simultaneously broke and then healed my heart a million times over, oh my god. I love their friendship soooo much.
Also Tan having to lift up on the tips of his toes to hug each of the boys??? I shed some TEARS.
Fall by EXO and Oh My by Seventeen - i was JUST about to comment that my godddd (also i see mingyu in your profile) 💕👀
It was such a cute moment I had to mention it!!! AND YEAH... he's my puppy :(

i would buy the extended cut on DVD
Netflix should release extra material on youtube
Heck yeah
Me, listening to Bobby talk: how to adopt someone twice my age?!
wow no wonder Karamo feels like a therapist on the show! He was a social worker and a psychotherapist lmao
monmon lol he had too many gems in his arsenal not to be certified.

When Jonathan got asked about how to deal with hair loss and he went on a whole rant about gender inequality 😂 I love him
That’s why I don’t. He overran so much of that. He also had extra editorials to add to everything. All about him.

#BitchTakeABow
I identify so much with Antoni, especially with the answer to the last question. Fall in love with your best friend straight is very hard :/
mad respect to Jonathan for holding back on going into the beauty industry without enough research to do it properly and sustainably
can we petition to make every episode AT LEAST 3 hours long, cause I´m so down to watch Antoni and Skylar out for sushi, 30 min long conversations with Tamyee like please
Everything about this including the moderator was amazing thank you. I also really need Jonathan's Winona moment as a gif
I'm vegan but I kinda want to buy Antoni's cookbook anyway just because I love all of them so much and I want to support him. ❤
Whitetomato27 same here
same i might get it and just veganize things lmaooo
You could always buy it to give to a friend and spread the love!
Karamo needs to do a TED talk. 🙏 I'm already watching.
i adore and admire bobby so much. he's so strong and i have so much respect to him. i love him so much
Such a fantastic group.
I love Bobby's jacket! I can't get enough of these guys!!!
Tan and Antoni being furthest apart? Not allowed. We need our Tantoni massages, neck rubs, hand holding, etc.
I can staring Antoni all day
I love them so much.
I love them so much, i feel like antoni is not appreciated enough...
why? how can you judge others so easy?
qaz111 pad Of course I can't be sure, it's just a feeling... like when he was being vulnerable at the end everybody just moved to another topic right away...
He is introverted personality type (maybe INFP?)
i have to disagree. as he said, he's in a public solitude. so i feel like that's just how it is. it looks uncomfortable for others point of view but i think antoni really is just comfortable like that. and everybody is respecting that. and i think the moderator does a good job of including everyone in the conversation.
“i love how you says SAYS”
So many amazing moments. Tan, Bobby and Antoni getting emotional really hits you to your core. Love these guys.
Tan is one of the most adorable human beings to ever exist.
This is the best interview-type thing I’ve ever seen for Queer Eye
Hey this interviewer was amazing he was really just a part of the conversation 10/10
can I just say. I love this show because of the connection. men, women, trans, straight, bi, gay.. I don't care. the struggles of emotions, mental health or relationships are universal and you guys always focus on that and it's admirable. I am especially partial to the episodes with animals because I love dogs but besides that I love every episode.
i love how excited tan is to hug antoni omg
Such articulated, smart, informed and aware guys. Also the moderator is a gem!
