This was the absolute best cinematography and design of a bike ride I've ever seen. Not to mention how wonderful your personalities are. The new drone was a worthwhile investment it seems. Just fabulous! I hope TH-cam appreciates the effort that went into this. Thank you!
Thank you! I was really happy with the way it turned out. Your comments are always so encouraging. It was my first week filming with the drone so I'm glad you enjoyed it.
This channel is such a fresh new take on gravel riding and life in general. Your pacing of the video is unlike all the other cookie cutter bike channels. Every episode feels like a little movie. I have now watched this video countless times at this point. Every single one of us that watch need to share it and shout from the rooftops to everyone we know. I want nothing but big success for you two. 6:366:39
Thank you. We are growing steadily andvthsts just fine. I simply enjoy the process and interacting with everyone on here. We have a special little community in our tucked away corner of TH-cam land.
The last two weeks riding in Vermont has been spectacular, weather-wise. I am so looking forward to more fall riding (I know it's not fall yet, but I'm getting the fall vibe).
If there’s an Oscar for a real fun vibe to Gravel riding this is it, how great it looks to cruise and chill out in your neighbourhood. A Gravel bike is one bike to rule them all…
Ha ha i'd just be happy to be nominated😉 I'm very grateful for where we call home, there's not a day goes by that I forget to connect with that notion. Hope you've had a great week.
I’m back home in NC 🏡 I already missing it.. I bike the Presidential Rail Trail “Wicked Awesome” 🚴♂️😎🌞 Gravel Roads have a beautiful vibe.. the unknown.. Great Video 😁
Love how you are experimenting with new intros! Is the drone new? You incorporated the drone footage without overwhelming the video! Looks like a great time once again!
Intros are the hardest part for me to work through but always glad I do. The drone is new as of a month ago. Still a lot to learn but I already only want to use it where it compliments the videos flow. Thank you for noticing that!
Yes that was one of my favorite shots too! It was sort of an accident in the way it turned out as I was amidst simply getting the drone to turn around and come back to me and didn't notice the shot until I reviewed the footage. Thanks for commenting on that!
Keep up the great work, editing, capturing. Appreciate when you share the GPS as I am close to you guys in the whites. Thanks for the inspiration. Now I want pot roast. 🤓🚲
In the PNW and new to cycling, went on a 40 mile gravel rail trail ride in perfect fall conditions - 57 sunny but cool. Can’t want to find more trails, want to get to the coast now that it’s misty season
Love the PNW! It's the West's parallel to northern new england where we live in the white mountains national forest. Very verdant and lush. Similar climate. That ride sounds awesome, especially the misty marine layer you mentioned. What rail trail did you ride? Thank you for sharing that, makes me want to head over to the coast now myself.🙏
@@ThatMountainMoment I did part of palouse to cascades - staring from rattlesnake lake, but on the coast the Olympic discovery trail looks amazing (haven’t done it yet) there’s probably a bunch around canon beach Oregon if you ever this way 🚴
@ChainsawYeti we lived in Bend for a stint and love the Oregon and Washington coast. Really want to do some bikepacking and backpacking out that way. That trail looks sweet! Have you ever been over to our neck of the woods? Vermont is the gravel hotbed of the country. It's has more gravel and dirt roads than pavement, including the highways, you can ride the entire state too to bottom on all dirt roads and it feels like your in a fairytale storybook the entire time. You'd love it I'm sure! Check out the VTXL gravel route which is end to end and the hut to hut trail network known as the VeloMont which is a mountain bike trail that also goes end to end. So cool. Our country has so much to offer for beautiful spaces.
We winged that ride but actually I can create the route since its such a familiar area. I'll get one to you later today when I get off work. Thanks Tom!
Same, I actually choose the music first that speaks to the mood of the ride\experience and make the videos around that. Cool that you noticed. Thank you

Fall vibes came super early this year, of course I think that's what we always say as New Englanders ha ha.

The tail end of summer better weather not as hot wonderful time for riding. Thanks for sharing.
Most pleasant time of year! And no flesh removing insects🙏
Very well done. That editing took a lot of work.
Thank you. It was a lot of fun to make. That means a lot that you enjoyed it
I feel like the change of seasons is my favorite gift from nature. And to feel those changes is amazing
Agreed, I've always loved the nuances of the transition parts of the seasons.

Ha ha wicked awesome! NC is darn nice too though.
Your video's always seem to inspire me. Thank you for the constant reminder of how lucky we New Englander are!
We have it pretty darn good in our little corner of the country. 🙏

I agree with others that the drone shots are great - there are lots of nice ones, and I really like the scene shown at 0:28. Beautiful video !

Incredible intro!
Oh thank you so much!🙏 those long shots can be risky to draw out like that so I really appreciate the feedback. Hope you had a great week!
@@ThatMountainMoment thanks! I hope you did, too!
What a perfectly done video! Made me wish I was pedaling with you! Peace, MD
Thank you so much! I hope one day to be able to organize a group camp and ride at my families property.
Keep up the great work, editing, capturing. Appreciate when you share the GPS as I am close to you guys in the whites. Thanks for the inspiration. Now I want pot roast. 🤓🚲
Ha ha I need to make this route in ridewithgps. It was an off the cuff ride since its such a familiar area to us. I'll get a route posted today.
Love that Nikki is always about the food. My friends and I are the same way. Big rides always have to end with good food or coffee!
Coffee is a must for me and if Nikki could just pack the pork roast for the ride she would have ha ha
Fun. As heck. Thanks for sharing. Ride on.
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it.
Wow, the scenery is beautiful, and it was a fantastic ride. I love this video!!!😍
Thank you! First real test on those riding glasses and very very happy btw. More on that coming soon!

Nice! Was just up in the NEK riding gravel. So beautiful!
Love it! Hard to top riding Vermont gravel roads.
Beautiful video! I spent a lot of time cycling in Vermont years ago, this just took me right back.
Is there a route for this ride, it looks perfect.
It was sort of just a neighborhood impromptu ride because we know it so well but I can easily whip up a route for you that retraces it. Stay tuned...🙂
what cameras do you use? we are enjoying your channel, thank you
So glad your enjoying it. The only camera I use is a GoPro. Oh and my drone
Great video/ride/views. Do you have a Strava or RWGPS of where you rode?
We winged that ride but actually I can create the route since its such a familiar area. I'll get one to you later today when I get off work. Thanks Tom!
Love the pork roast comment!! 😂
Ha ha! Nikki's favorite part of riding is the food!🍖
I'm a sucker for cuts synced to music. I guess that's what happens when you're raised on music videos.
Same, I actually choose the music first that speaks to the mood of the ride\experience and make the videos around that. Cool that you noticed. Thank you
Beautiful scenery! Dug the music too. Especially the tune starting at 5:20. Went well with the footage.
Thanks! Yeah I really dig that song too! I was excited to use it when I found it. Hope you had a great week!
