Just found this, wanted to share with you Dewayne - my dad got sick when I was 18, I lost him when I was 20, had to drop out of school and everything to help my mom take care of him (honored to, I loved him dearly). Since he's been gone 14 years now I've been trying to figure out life things largely alone, and there aren't hardly any men out there that will actually sit down and encourage us younger men, or teach us. Videos like this make me feel cared for and it's nice to learn from an older man. Thank you.

You are a true “man.” Caring for your mother and taking your father’s responsibility for any measure of time is truly a selfless act expressing what being a “man” is all about. No matter how long it has been I am sorry for your loss but fight on and learn what you must.

I'm fairy young, I'm in my early teens but this stuff I have heard of but I live in the city so hearing and seeing stuff like this is a breath of fresh air when I see druggies and wannabe gangsters daily at my high-school. It's kinda depressing seeing them behave like that and even say I'm using steroids just cause I look muscular when all I do is lift a few times a week consistently and eat a fairly traditional diet. God America is going the wrong way.

I cook eggs everyday pretty similar to this, except I make an omelette. If you keep the heat down to Medium, the eggs will set with the sausage and whatever you put on them. I flip them, then turn heat to low and sprinkle with cheese. Then fold in half. Cheese will be on the inside. I have Oatmeal with them and a 3/4 cup of yogurt and herbal tea.

That's how I was my grandpa used to always cook the dinner and I would watch him my grandma would cook breakfast and I would watch her and then my mom was really good person to learn cooking from and she used to love watching cooking shows back when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s. I took everything I learned and then put my own twist into different things. At this point I can pretty much cook anything can I make up a lot of recipes with no cookbook I can just go through what's in the kitchen and what would go well together and just create something because I grew up poor and that's a survival skill that you need to know.

I’m up at 4:30 most every day. Sit with a cup of coffee. Cook my breakfast of eggs and sausage or bacon. Sometimes fried and sometimes scrambled. I scramble them same as you, but I need to add the whipping cream. I put my cheese in as soon as I pour the eggs into the skillet. Melts and blends in thoroughly. No bread. No carbs.

    • @H0kram
      @H0kram 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      Hey, same here buddy.
4:30 in the morning, I switched to an " american breakfast " in the last 6 months because in France, we have that bad habit of typically eating sweet stuff in the morning.
Sugar does no good, plus there is a natural boost in glucose from our body, proeuced by the liver, before we wake up to help us get going, more sugar just results in a spike which leaves us with a down a few hours later, as opposed to good fat and proteins. And a whole fruit at the end of the breakfast. No juice.
I go back to my French soul for the rest of the day but starting with sugar in the morning is really bad, I've noticed how it determines the rest of the day.

Here in Brazil countryside's workers before going to the coffee fields prepare and store their food (usually rice, beans, meat and potatoes) in an "aluminium lunch pail" called "marmita". They often wrap it up with a dishcloth to keep It warm until lunchtime. When they arrive at the field they eat a bit of that around 6:30 a.m. and the other part they eat around 11 a.m.

Dewayne, that cowboy breakfast lays a good foundation for a day of hard work. I have my own adaptation of this recipe. I use Tennessee Pride Country Sausage (Hot) and three eggs scrambled in a little whole milk. I add some diced sweet onion and diced tomatoes along with some grated sharp cheddar cheese. Plate it up and add a little Texas Pete Hot Sauce. A cup of strong, black camp coffee and I’ve got one of my favorite breakfast meals. I greatly appreciate you sharing your cowboy breakfast this morning.

I love your skillet cooking. As a family we’ve cooked on campfire skillet after watching that video you did a few years back. Thank you sir.

I will eat it like you made, for sure, but if I have fresh veggies, I have been known to add chopped mushrooms, chopped onion, minced garlic or garlic powder, chopped green, orange, or yellow pepper, and even some leaf baby spinach. So good! Nancy from Arkansas

I learned how to cook from a young age from my mom. I never had to rely on anyone to cook for me since I was young. Now that I’m in my 20s, when nobody is around, I can always cook something for myself

I like to taste my food, too, and for the most part use butter, salt, and pepper to do any flavor enhancing and browning.
Thanks for another food video. God bless you and mamma. Hey, Mamma.

Never understood when people say cooking is hard, I’m 17 and I taught my self how to cook when I was 15. For most meals, crank the heat up to medium, flip and stir your food here and there and just take it out once you have a nice brown color. And for the seasoning really all you’ll ever need is some Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, and Paprika.

Awesome vid. You inspired me to get back into cooking eggs again haha. An old Englishman that I used to know years ago used to do very similar to what you do here but he used to crumble in some black pudding to his omelette mixture and upon serving used to drizzle some Worcestershire sauce over it. he didn't even add salt and pepper, the black pudding and the worcestershire was the seasoning =)
