Love it when locals stop by and show you the way. I enjoy fishing around different locations, targeting different species. It’s always good to bump into someone with local knowledge. Who is nice!
Great job, and so awesome that you met Shane. I've been lucky to know him over the years and that video encompasses his traits. He's fun as hell to fish with, shares his knowledge freely, and just a great dude. He's a walleye ninja too besides the river fishing -both open water and ice.
I grew up on the Eastern shore of DelMarVa. Been living in Hawaii for over 30years. Always enjoy Sea Money's vids reminding me of my east coast roots. Dudes an inspiration getting out there and fishing everywhere he can get to. Yessah brother! Love to see your videos. Keep it up. Alohas from the 808.
Nice job bro. Hand lining steelhead. welcome to N.Y. it's like 10 below where you were fishing currently. I used to be pretty dialed like Shane. Best day on an erie trib was 72 fish. Best season over 1000. .
I've had 1 really good trip there. It was a few days before the closure of the UFZ, end of November. The rest of my trips were very humbling, to say the least.
They do hit spinners, spoons, jigs plugs etc.. I tried throwing a jig for awhile and got nothing. Water temps at 33 make them lethargic enough they hardly move. A spinner dangled in their face would likely get hit though..
@@bl6907 the mid/upper-NJ/PA Delaware river videos always seem to disappear (deleted). Probably spot burning reasons. I get it, but as a local I know those holes already. I just always enjoyed seeing him be so successful
Beautiful fish and awesome video. However as a west coaster it is my duty to give you some shit. Unless it has been in the salt it is NOT a steelhead it is a lake run rainbow trout. No need to kid yourselves just be happy you guys are having a good time catching very respectable sized RAINBOW TROUT! Northern California,Oregon and Washington all the way up to Alaska where you will find real steelhead. Ok I'm done ranting tight lines👊
man I gotta spend some money and go on a steelhead trip.... wishful thinking to think I will ever get to fish for them near me ever again on the Columbia River.... numbers just arent there anymore 😞
I don’t know much about the west coast but it sounds like there’s some good rivers over there but the wild fish are in bad shape. Best of luck out there
Soon as you told Shane to come over and try to catch a few I was like hold my beer, IK exactly how this is gonna go. He does that to every body lol.
Shane is a good guy and a legend up there !!
So glad to see more videos again Chris

Yay! Keep those videos coming they’re like crack
Sea Moneys post are always a welcome surprise 👍🏻
I always wanted to fish there
Great to see some more of your content again. My cousin fishes the Salmon River and it usually runs hot and cold for him to.
Its a tough place those fish on the public stretches get so much pressure
The second I saw Shane I knew you were in trouble haha
I’m glad he showed up and took us to steelhead school
@@ChrisMcIntee try using a float too next time. Shane can get ya set up or all seasons.
Sea-Money on the river!! hell yea
My cousin lives in upstate and we still havent gone to the salmon river. Im dying to go, great video.
Nikko makes a 13mm and 16mm blue scent ball that is the ticket up there. Not in the stores up there, though. Have to get online.
Another banger
My man, hats off to your fish handling skills. Absolutely superb and a true model for catch and release anglers!
Thanks I try
Steelhead are fun to catch
When you catch the water on the rise, it can be a great day!!
What size hook and split shot?
💪💪💪💪💪💪Fiscing campiones 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What were his tips?
I forgot where I heard this saying once before ...."the difference between a really good day and a really bad day is 1 split shot " ( True story )
That’s great haha
Did you try any if the sandy’s?
Bro what Cain of bait do u use?
What was the updated length Shane had you change your leader to below the split shot? Any other tips he shared?
Shane lives right across the river.
let’s goooooo C Money😈😈
Shane knows his shit
I’m not too familiar with steelhead fishing rivers, would they not hit spinners? Seems like everyone’s using egg sacs or worms

What's the minimum inches and bag limits?
🎣🤙🏼
hand lining steelhead.....something new he,he
What kind of rod should you use for steelheads
Its in the description
Something 8-10’ and pretty light action
Only you could handline one in😆
Would love to see another winter Delaware River walleye/musky/smallmouth/brown trout/unopened beer expedition
only og subs remember

That was a great one
Can you keep the fish?
You can keep one or 2, yes. I don’t eat freshwater fish really so I don’t know the regs exactly
Bottom bouncing… also known as “lining the fish”. Put a float on and see how you guys do!
You have no idea that people effectively line fish with bobbers, do you?
Local expert. More weight, longer leader. That will get them to bite!

As we look to our left we see two horseshoe crabs doing the nasty
