i saw this man open for city and colour in slc on pretty much the most epic day of ever on 11-11-11 anywho my eardrums gave my brain little kisses cuz his voice was so lovely not to mention how epic and bad to the bone he is on the geetar! saw that upclose in le front .. i wanted to make it rain on him he was gettin down so hard on that guitar
I saw him open for CandC as well. His cover of "Look at that Woman" was amazing. Sadly a couple of drunk hipsters wouldn't shut up while he was playing.

I've always thought the desire for revenge was a vestigial adaptation passed down through human genetics from a time when our ancestors resembled the character in the first verse. This song and video suggest to me that I may not be alone in that belief.
The fact that this man used to be in a hardcore punk rock band (i used to be as well) and that the stuff he releases now is beyond bizzare and very much different to this AND the fact that he dresses in this weird stuff throughout this video makes me a little irritated. For those that identify with the pain depicted in the lyrics of albums Willow Tree and Cry With Me, it feels as if you're being mocked by this video and that he was just kidding. BUT at the same time I guess it just speaks to his creativity and diversity of sounds etc etc. Idk. I wish that produced more stuff like this. Not hating on his music just venting a little personal/individual frustration. Dont send me hate mail. I appreciate his music.
