yeah thats always my reaction to these kind of videos, guys losing massive amounts and a few days/Weeks later they do it again, as if money just comes falling out of the sky, or talking about it like "oh well, thats all part of the game", as if it s normal to have even more than a few $1000 at a young adult age
Ive lost 20k in gambling. I put my foot down and faced financial consequences that became an eye opener for me. Now I budget and dont gamble anymore. What doesnt help is social media. People making videos of constantly winning at casinos or winning big on scratch off tickets, so it makes you think hey if i spend this amount of money im entitled to win big or get the same amount of money that said person won as well. Nope doesnt work like that. Casinos and the lottery is designed to scam people. I realised all that money spent i could have saved and had that chunk of money in my pocket. Will no longer give my money to the scammers. One way to stop the gambling addiction is to see it as nothing but a scam. Before you spend a dollar for that lottery ticket or at the casino just imagine two wealthy people standing there holding their hands out waiting for you to give them your money. Dont give those two scammers your money. Put it back in your pocket keep it. Doing that will help you quit like I did.
The bookies let you win in the beginning of your gambling addiction journey so that you can get hooked. The best is to buy a new car and drive by casinos and stores that sell gambling 🎰 games.
I’m 18 turning 19 I’ve lost around 15k due to online gambling I started at 15 it’s something I never thought was a problem till recently I’m trying to quit.
Thanks for the feedback bro. I'll definitely be doing more of these in the future. I've been learning a lot from reading other people's experiences with gambling
I watch your videos from time to time just to remind myself that I need to stay away from gambling and not to fall in that deep hole that I found myself 8 months ago.
New subscriber here! Watching because for all that I do NOT have a gambling addiction I started seeing a man that actually just seemed like my soul mate. His ex-girlfriend does HAVE a gambling addiction and in order to convince him to stop seeing me she convinced him to go to a gambler’s anonymous meeting with him a little over a week ago. I told him in no uncertain terms I will not see him if he is thinking she can and will quit gambling therefore seeing her. My heart is hurting but I will not see a man who is also seeing another woman and he understands and respects that. I know I have always said once a cheater, always a cheater and I honestly feel the same about drug addicts and gambling addicts. I do realize a small percentage change but I have to somehow figure out how to get him out of my head especially since he has clearly told me he is afraid he might be making a huge mistake.
grateful to hear this story because i also believe everything i do i can get good at. I would be the type of person to watch yt videos to learn how to get advantages on things but i will never try to do something like this (casino/gambling) thanks.
someone i know has this problem . they kept trying to drag me into it with them , and i refused . they held it against me . i no longer have a relationship with this person as they wont have much to do with me becuase i refused them . what do i do , say eff them ? i guess thats the best thing to do . i have my own life and i am not interested in greed .
Stay away from them.. misery loves company is so true! It’s always easier for them to deal with their losses when they have someone who’s going through the same things. When you don’t gamble they get mad because it’s so hard for them not to gamble so they don’t understand it.
I agree with him 100% on winning money. There are plenty of games baccarat, roulette, blackjack, holdem, etc etc where you're almost a coin flip. Side bets will kill you but the straight up bets are almost a coin flip I am up at some point (just ballparking) like 80% of the time I gamble. It might only be 50 bucks, though. The hard part is keeping it, because it never feels like enough to leave on
I am glad they have not tossed you yet.... More often than not I have heard those who don't give the casino a chance to get their money back tend to just be tossed!!!
My first experience with online gambling was my last experience...I lost 300 bucks in one poker hand...My four Kings got beat by four Aces...I thought the game was RIGGED...I didn't chase my loss...😒😒
I have lost over 1,500$ in 3 weeks gambling thankfully I’ve noticed it’s a problem abd I’m trying to stop early but it has affected my relationship with my gf my friends and family I’m going to stop!
Greek life is the fraternity and university system in American universities. People join these clubs (that are identified by Greek letters) in order to join a brotherhood and get access to friends and philanthropic opportunities.
Greek life - fraternities and sororities that get that name by using greek letters. Most referred to this way are social organizations but there are professional and cultural ones as well.
There should be an universal global system of full gambling self-exclusion. (From all online and physical casinos- those which don't comply will be shut down) That's only solution for problem gamblers. You should have liberty to gamble, but also a right not to.
Counting cards is real tricky.. the people who can do it won’t go around bragging. They’ll do it until the casino catches on and kicks them out. I’m from Boston and we had these MIT students who went around the US counting cards and cleaning casinos out. Not really but they won millions and got banned from all the casinos. They made a movie about it. You have to be a borderline genius in math to do it right! They used to train for hours a day before they went to a casino.
@@cvgodd1432 I'm in the genius category and can tell when slot machines will hit very soon or not hit for a long, long period of time just by memorizing all the random spins on all the various slot machines. All the patterns repeat on each slot machine. The average person can't discern these patterns or remember each spin. I was born with a photographic memory.
Advice: if you don’t know what some thing is, you can pause the recording look it up and then join back in and explain it to others. It’s bad form to leave things up in the air like that. Especially when the answer is so easily attainable.
@DarekBearzi not sure if you just have a hold ‘em background but if you play other games such as as blackjack, baccarat, ultimate hold em, and you know how to wager, 9 out of 10 times you will always be net gain positive. That’s what he means by making a profit is easy and hardest part is getting up. Only problem is your net gain (if your a low stakes gambler) is about $20 - $120 on average before things can start going negative or maybe you’re lucky and things get a little better.
I lost 84,000 as 28 year I shall never gamble again
Broke ass
Impressive to even have 40k to lose at 22. I probably didn't even have $400
I don't even have $40
Bc you broke asf
Lucky, I don't even have $4

I’m currently dealing with gambling addictions. I trade binary options and I loose money, it has become an addiction. It’s not been easy

I also started out with a gaming addiction

Didn't know that! Thanks
Once a gambler, always a gambler inside the mind…Have to distract that though other hobby like fishing, biking, photography.

bro I won 160k euros on a slot in a day hitting the jackpot and lost all in 3 weeks 🙂
No mention of gamblers anonymous or other therapies
i can guarantee you that this guy did not count cards correctly or is understanding his bet size correctly

Hello Derek, were you a winning poker player?
In the early poker boom of 2003, yes I was. The game was a lot easier back then tho
lost 80k$+ at 17
Greek Life simply means joining a fraternity. They name themselves with letters of the Greek Alphabet.
Some Indian casinos in California are 18+.
greek life = fraternities

I'd prefer to just be honest and transparent. I'm okay with being wrong and/or not knowing the answer to everything. 😀
