How fun and interesting!! I love salt and pepper shakers - they're just so fun. That pink poodle set was adorable!! I used to collect them but I stopped a while ago and gave the ones I had to my kids. I think I might start looking for some more again soon though. Thank you for this one- so fun!!
I've owned a small yellow duck and a tulip bulb s&p shakers since I was about 10 and have thought about collecting for years, but havent! And I was really excited when I was given a set of salt cellars and spoons when I was 20. Now you've got me thinking about collecting again!

Great video, Mike! Your suggestions and advise are so helpful and greatly appreciated. There sure are lots of beautiful shakers and crazy cool ones, too! You are awesome!❤️🇺🇸🙏✝️🛐
Something for everyone! Affordable and fun too. If you're reselling, look for large lots or collections to buy at a discount to max profit. It's hit or miss on the occasional estate sale or thrift find.
I found before we shut down last March, and bought 2 Vintage puppy dogs, with pink bows, and just a few weeks ago I found two turkeys Male and female, Vintage too for Thanksgiving, they're really are quite nice.
I started collecting a year or two ago and have like 40 or so sets of random shakers i like. i always aim for vintage or older ones and look up the history
Hi .....always love these videos! I do not collect S&P shakers but I did have the set shown at 3.39 in the video.....I sold them dirt cheap in my booth I used to have...I remember something about a sticker on them saying they came from an Indian school out west that closed? Forgive me if I used wording that is incorrect...that’s all I can remember...funny the shakers came from the cellars....I just bought cellars....lol thank you for sharing 😊kim
Thanks for the video Mike. I collect game fish salt and pepper shakers that were hand painted and made in Japan. Have noticed at auctions that they are popular and command a very good price.
Now I’m inspired to look for new salt and pepper shakers. Like you, I really like the carnival glass ones! Milk glass would be my second favourite if it had a unique shape.
Really nice. Thank you. Would appreciate if you can write the names (of companies) while you are showing the pictures. Some of us (meaning me) do not know how to spell them and so can’t find the item online. Thanks again.
I collected salt and pepper shakers about 30 years ago. Bought most of them at flea markets for a dollar. I have about 200 sets that are now boxed up. When I was collecting I always looked for cork stoppers as I was told they were older than the plastic ones. I have animals, food, out houses, Indians anything that was unusual. My favorite was little bo peep and her sheep. Someday I will unbox them. Took a lot of time to dust them LOL but it is a fun thing to collect.
I have a few, we pick them up once in a while We have ears of corn by Shawnee pottery, I also have Acme beer miniature bottles etc. They are fun to look for. My problem is I never sell them.
I collect anthropomorphic fruits and vegetables. There were sooo many different ones. I especially like the Napco ones ( you showed a collection at the beginning of the video) I have a few but am still searching for the harder to find sets. They are very expensive on Ebay and Etsy!
The salt cellers or dishes with the little spoon were used not because people were too stupid to think about a Shaker for it.. Probably a million people did, but the salt caked up big time and didn't shake... Morton added Magnesium Carbonate to solve the problem..
My sis just found salt and pepper shakers she had for gotten about .Please show all of yours so I can ask you some questions if i see one that looks like mine..Thank you..Annie..

I was looking for either Uranium or carnival glass salt and pepper shakers a few weeks ago and could not find a set under $50.00 . I had no idea they were selling for this much .

With so many different categories to collect it is pretty tough to narrow it down to one thing people are collecting. Rarest set is the gas pump set or at least that was has sold got the most
