Come from Plymouth and a Jasperizer is the pinnacle of burgers on the Barbican. Spent many an hour or two munching into one (or two) of them and soaking in the good company talking bikes with our bikes lined up along the front. Visiting Plymouth, get yourself down to the waterfront and munch. My mother and me (when I was a nipper) would stop off regularly for a tea at the hut all those years ago as It all started with a Blue hut serving tea to the chilled fishermen when coming home from a time at sea with their catch, and the stories were interesting, then we would walk around the old fish market looking at the catch and listening to the boxes of fish being sold. Jaspers is history. Great memories from the past.

There's gourmet and There's beer sponge...both can be fantastic, back in the 70s we used to get boiled burgers with onions and ketchup of a little Italian guy with a hand pushed kitchen...at 2am on a Fri night. They were the best ever 🥰🤣🍺
Now that was a bit mad, it's 9.30pm here, I was having a nice cup of tea and watching the video. Got engrossed, forgot about the tea, video finished. Picked the drink up and was expecting it to taste of Dark Berries and be sweet and fizzy, almost spat it out when it wasn't.
That would be amazing after a skin full, love those cheap patties and the bloomer
Harsh Mr Matt your score is Harsh. Yes it's a bit basic but look at the smile on your face and the beautiful location. If that was docklands it would be £15 for half as much. That was a 6.8 all day lol JMO

I was a student in the 90's and it looks like the food is exactly the same, but after a bunch of beers it really could not be beaten, was half a yard of hotdog for me though
Need to try pastals in blackpool, very popular with the locals, loads of unique burgers and milkshakes and a decent price

Accurate score. Was last there in my student years back in the late 90s. Amazing they haven’t really improved since then. Still looks like cheap ingredients.

You need to do 'Port O'Call', 23 Bishops Place, Plymouth PL1 3BW. Every time I have to stay away near Plymouth I'll go and eat there. Proper food cooked by women that can make real gravy and at prices that anyone can afford.

Personally I think people just need to enjoy both RMT and FRC. Neither is better than the other, and each channel in my opinion has its own individual qualities that keeps me coming back to both. Keep it up Matt and Jess 👍🏼
