If you're back in Scotland try Tempura in Ayr. It's absolutely amazing & there special sauce on the fries is like nothing I have tasted before. The tempura chicken is incredible.

Superb review of what looks classy burgers and damn good traditional pub grub. That Mac and cheese looked outstanding and those burgers off the carts if ever I saw a top burger. Decent of the owner to bring out that cookies and ice cream. Sensational meal 😉👏👏
The problem with this type of food is that it’s cheap food done expensively and so I’d never go out and have it for an evening meal. As good as it looks I can get a decent chicken burger in the car and I make Mac and cheese at home. If I’m spending £100 for 2 of us I’d prob head to a classic restaurant. Maybe it’s a generational thing….
It looked good for standard quality pub grub, which is what it is! Probably looking at £60/70 for two with drinks! It’s all standard pricing in these places it’s a pub/restaurant chain!
I'm the opposite I don't mind paying for a good burger that i know is not one of the American fast for chains. They to me taste just as good as some of the food I:ve had In sit down restaurants. I'm a huge Burger fan, I'd rather eat a great tasting Burger than the average steak that 8 out of 10 restaurant chains will serve you.I'm a massive steak fan also.

There are a few stand out places in St Albans and Harpenden, but not like this and not at those great prices for the quality and portion size your getting. Time for a score from me, without tasting it for myself, going on looks and your description Matt, a solid 9 throw Gavin right into the elite category 👍

I've been to Oakham and the vibe of this place couldn't be less appropriate to that kinda area - traditional pub with good food would be better, not a bar with loud music and flashy lights. Even the styling of the menu was totally cringe.
I love this channel, the team and the recommendations because they are really thoughtful, honest and deliberate but I can’t help thinking that this video was an advert for the place and it isn’t the first time I’ve noticed. I so hope I’m wrong because it would deceive everyone that supports the channel and goes against everything that your channel is trying to achieve

Not disputing the burgers look great, but I have never been a fan of massive burgers. Give me a standard cheeseburger with fried onions and I am happy
I'm the same, it's too much, I would rather have two burgers and split the toppings from one. Ditch the fries altogether they belong on the side.
