Can't wait to get one of these for my wife's 03 type s. Doing the kit and the valve adjustment soon. I was an Acura tech from 10-13. These old TL's and integras are my heart. I love the 05 MDX as well. I think the j32a2 is the best Honda engine. The type r stuff obviously is special but these pre k20 era Honda's were solid gold. Id swap a j series over a k any day of the week.
Great video. Very detailed. However, I agree that the job is definitely easier with the engine out of the engine bay. So much space to work with. Perhaps, make another video for those who don't have the luxury of pulling out the entire engine.
I've done the timing belt on my 05 3.5 odyssey since 2009 and seeing this belt being installed out of the car just makes me wish I could do it this way as it is so much easier out of the car!
Hi guys, greetings from Panama. I already bought the cylinder head gaskets and the timing belt from you. This week I'm about to buy the valves. I had a problem with my J35Z6 engine, the timing belt broke. Now I need to know what I'm going to set to set the timing. I can't find the information anywhere about which piston I should put in neutral to set the timing of the belt. Can you help me with that? Thanks.
Hey Sean so i recently replaced timing belt on my 2015 Honda Accord V6 but forgot to remove the negative before removing ecu unit. Not sure what happens but after installation i am seeing FCW failed warning, engine light, and D3 N3 kind notification on my gage cluster. Please help!
Wow! Had no idea that J Series motors would be used for aircraft

Nice! Nice of you to have the Engine out the Engine bay, makes it easier.

Getting mine done (j35a8) on Monday
I use an old axle nut as a spacer for the crank pulley bolt. But whatever works lol
Just the video I’m gonna need soon! Awesome 👏
Thank you again for the J-series content!
More to come!

I don’t see the point. Stick with OEM/Aisin.
