Wonderful to learn more about these engines. I have a J35Y2 in my car, so it's always a treat to learn about these relatively rare motors. Can't wait to see how you all improve and I will probably get my parts from P2R if I ever need engine components.
@@PowerRevRacing Great video - I am looking at getting a 2013 coupe 6 speed this week. it is a good price but has 243K miles and is a local person who has owned it sine 45K miles. Anything I should look for? I will change timing belt and water pump and other type things myself after I get it. Thanks - just subscribed.
@shawnwright240 as far as the engine goes. Installing a quality timing belt kit would be the first thing I would do. We have nice timing belt kits in stock for that car as well.
I want to get a 2010 to 2013 TL sh awd but as we know the oil consumption is one I can not deal with...I have a 2010 6MT 3.7 that was fixed under warranty now I want a auto but want that issue not to be an issue....and no I do not want a used engine...what options do you have?
can you please send me a guide or link to rebuild the valve train on a 13 crosstour with the vcm engine . attempted to replace the vcm solenoid and all the little springs popped out of the rocker arms .
Just about everything in the head design is different between J35Y2 and J35A8. . Intake & Exhaust ports, rocker assembly, camshafts, just to name a few.
J35y1 lol. Sooo essentially the y1 and y2 heads are the same pretty much. I got an accord 2016 with the y1 and I'm itching to throw some power at her. She's gets down for stock. I would love to do a Manual swap as well. As it's never been done. Yea I know I can get the coupe 6.6 but I got kids lol. Not tryna be moving my seat back and forth. Anyway I want those heads for my car.
We can do cnc ported heads for the Y1. The main thing we won't be making for the Y1 is the camshafts, and the rocker assembly. But we can do everything else.
@PowerRevRacing not even drop in cams. 🤧 dang. Looks like I got to get a coupe. Or swap my whole setup. There no difference in the auto head vs the manual heads right. Or yall just not going to put that much work into the y1 heads.
Mission accomplished, you guys are the kings of the J series. Well done. 😉

Finally some j35y2 content! Can’t wait for all of y’all work on the y2 and break my bank cuz I’m trying to be an N/A monster for my y2 motor lol
Thats my Y2 on the stand. Built for boost. Its got everything Sean has to offer.
Can’t have the prettiest car on the outside without beauty on the inside. I’m as excited to break my own bank as well!
J35Y2 rules 💪🏽

We're trying not to forget any J engine. We have lots of parts for your engine available.
Will the J35Y2 benefit from the J37 intake manifold or just swap in the J37 throttle body with your adapter?

Great video, will that head fit on a J32A3 block?
The Gen 3, 2004-2008 Acura TL.
How much of this can apply to the j35y1?

Anyone know if the J35Y2 will work on an 8th gen 6-6 accord with the original harness and ecu? Needing a replacement engine for my J35Z3.
What ati dampener is that?? Been trying to find one.
Where is your shop located?
Does this motor have gasoline direct injection? They use the earth dreams technology right
This engine is not direct injection. Only the 4 cylinder for this generation was DI
Are you doing anything for the j35y4? (2018 RLX hybrid sport)
We have parts that fit. My personal daily driver is a 2020 RLX Sport Hybrid.
@@PowerRevRacing that's fantastic great car
Are there any big differences between the Y2 and A8?
