You just Can’t GO Wrong with the Professor!!!!!!!! At 150%%%% Ether, He NEVER let’s Us Down! After All it’s tested on Animals! 👍 Better Order up another Case Today!
Absolutely! I hard to wrap my mind around that it is this far. It’s sitting in a different shed now and I still can’t believe that it’s the same tractor.
Yes that Hand primer only works when the fuel pump lever is on the low side of the cam. Open the bleeders and get the air purged. The CAV pumps really don’t pick up fuel well. Had a 1365 one time that seemed to have a black coating in the fuel tank that over time would peel off and plug up the outlet. Ended up replacing the tank. As you found that tractor will go far on a little bit of fuel. Glad to see you driving the green Italian Stallion!
The 1365 like my Fordson Major are just the right size for chores, and big enough to replace a larger tractor for lighter tractors. What a glorious first drive for the old beast after sitting. I'm going to need to get my Major out soon, we currently have another snow storm dumping on us. Wet and Heavy heart attack snow! yay!
A rewarding end to a frustrating project!!! Had a similar fuel issue on the 1030 Case when it ran out of fuel. After adding fuel and bleeding the filters and input line to the injector pump it finally caught. (after adding some Vitamin E). LOL
Way to go, Cousin Ross! Bet your glad this project is coming to an end. It's funny about those fuel filters. I have one on one tractor that never looks like it's full at all. Always seems to be only half full - but it works fine.
Great job! A man sure has to have a lot of patience, but it's paying off. I got a littile John Deere 212 garden tractor that belonged to my uncle I been slowly going through. It was probably ready to be scrapped but i just could not do that since it was his. I went through the engine and rear end. Now it needs motor mounts and new tires. I got an IH 1650 garden tractor I been working on also.
See? You did it! There really was no need to get down on yourself and call yourself all the names you used for yourself! Great video and keep them coming! Shawn
I can only subscribe so many times, stop yelling at me! Anyway congrats on the tractor, it's always a great feeling to take a pile of parts from someone else and make it work again.
Hello Ross, I just want to say congratulations and very cool on getting the ole 1365 back up and running again. Definitely an awesome accomplishment. I really enjoyed watching the whole process as I do all of your videos. Hope you will continue to show the rest of the work needing done on the tractor. I also thank you very much for taking the time out of your day to make these videos and sharing the service calls that you go on. I really like watching them too. I always look forward to watching your videos in the evening and think you’re quite knowledgeable, skilled and have a sense of humor that’s just hilarious (in a good way). You’re quite the entertainer and you probably don’t even know it lol. Keep up the great work 👍👍
Sweet dreams are made of these..... I bet its the feeling Ill get when I drive my Farmall 560 when I get her all together... nice to see her running... I like them red tractors as much as green olivers...
Man that thing is looking sweeeeet! I knew you was going to pull it off, your farm is where old Oliver's go to live out there years. I see the corn dog likes it too 😁 The way that thing goes you'll be using it to go to town on Saturday nights.
Good job on getting it out and moving. I think it’s funny the steering wheel knob fell off, and they just bolted another one on haha. I think if you took a trip to the scrap yard you may have the funds to buy more toys too!
That's awesome you got to take it for a spin ! I'm sure with a little more work you will have everything lined out . I like the size of this tractor because it's not too big to do garden work and yet its big enough to do farm work . Thanks for sharing and have a great day !
Could you please do a video tour of all the tractors we see in the background and give us the story on each one also tell us what's up with the old Thunderbird ? Do you drive a school bus twice a day? Congratulations on your victory on the old Oliver
I do have several equipment tour videos I did last year. Most of the stuff is on them except for the stuff that I got in the last year since then. Yes I drive the bus twice a day. The Thunderbird I bought from a friend I went to high school with and rebuilt the engine and then while I was working on it one time it fell on top of my leg and I’ve been mad at it ever sense 🤣. I would probably sell it if the right offer came in.
Great to see you get it fixed and out in the sunshine. I've working on my 185 white have all the sheet metal in primer , waiting on front tires it's front assist darn tires are expensive as well as batteries. Time to sell some corn I guess n pay some bills too . Seed corn and beans ordered time to service equipment now won't be long a month we could be planting. From turkey creek farms be safe n thankful
Wow, does that bring back memories hearing it run and looking down the hood. The one we had was the low exhaust that exited out between the frame and the left rear tire. The lever for the PTO always ground a little when engaging, but since it was a loader tractor the PTO was running most of the time and was never disengaged unless needed for some rare use on the baler or generator. They were rated about the same as a 1555 so they are spunky little devils.
For your spindle troubles take the grease fitting out and push penetrating oil or diesel into it to loosen it up while you turn it so it can wash the rust out. Just a thought it cant hurt.
I think that would be an easy job for it, but I thought of some thing else too I just have to get the three point lever working good to do that so we’ll see….
Congrats Ross you got her running. I am from Ontario and we have had several of these little tractors over the years. Currently we have a 1370 4wd with a loader and it gets used for a lot of small jobs. They are really good on fuel and have more power than you might think. I realize they are italian built but i think in time you will grow to really appreciate it. Hugh
Looks like it’s running solid! Can’t rush quality - we had the 550 blown apart in pieces for 7 years before we got it all back together! I’m thinking the 1365 needs to be your Tractor Cruise tractor this year!
Thanks! I thought of that same thing, I Tractor Drive tractor. But I think I’m actually gonna take the 500 the next time I go on a tractor drive. I trust it a little more right now than this one lol.
FANTASTIC JOB.. But wait their is more. Check your lines to the PS Pump for correct flow order . Remove a line on the PS cylinder into a BUCKET to see if you have pressure OR a dribble. OLIVER MANUAL for this tractor ? 🤔
So happy you were able to take it for a drive! I agree a foot throttle on 550's and Super 55's would be a blessing. I'm sure as you drive it more, the steering towards the right will improve! Congrats again!
Congratulations on completing a forever project!!I don't think I have ever seen a ft. weight for one of those. Dose it have the bolt pattern for the big frame BW1204 slab weights??? Two of them and you can haul rolls out of the field with it. Might have to fix that steering first.😂
Great Ross! Too bad I can't subscribe twice 😂😂 but then I'd get confused 🤪 oh it's too late for that. I know how you feel I was at that point with my IH 756 twice, and truth be told it's sat since late November so I'm kinda scared to be starting for the season here soon. I got a new spindle for it, and got more axel work to do no my little loader tractor too. The 1365 looks pretty spiffy all things considered tho👍👍

I really enjoy these videos. Restorations are very satisfying when they result in a useful tool.
Thank you! It’s very rewarding bringing one back to life.
Well Done sir Ross the Oliver dude ! Thanks for the ride , very much enjoyed it! I even pinched myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming this lol
Thanks Scott 🤣
Awesome job, it's a great feeling to get one running again. That ether makes me want to grow a goatee, cause that is one handsome devil on that can.
I've seen that guy somewhere before.
I hear his cousin makes great chicken!!!
Glad you got to drive it, and bring us along.

Thanks Eric! I hope it is
There was never a doubt in my mind that it would run. Good deal!

I think so too! Bigger than a little 8N Ford but smaller than a huge tractor.
