    Chains are jumpy on the Makita. Proper chain tensioning and good gloves are a must.

    I prefer the electric saws but I'd always keep a 2 stroke around if I did this for a living.

    Did you find out why did chain jump off makita

      Yeah the cutterbar isn’t very good, replaced it with a Stilh one and hasn’t come off since.

      @grazierguy thanks they are made bye oragon looking for a chainsaw I have loads of lxt batteries but real was gonna jump onto the dewalt 54v till I seen all the reviews about them taking oil everywhere so bk to makita I getting duc405z model is that yours in oz
