Must have been frustrating for red Tau, whole game was essentially a 1v3 and he was holding out so well and even pushed to their base. Fantastic micro, kiting and unit composition only for his remaining ally to sit on the listening posts and occasionally cap the strat points.
It was a really impressive display from red Tau. Though I think Vrax certainly contributed a lot with smaller, more DPS orientated units like Longstrike and Barracudas, especially considering he lost his HQ so early in the game.
Red Tau was rocking it, they knew their Tau well. Just sad truth of DoW being a very old game and lag is very much a thing. I’ve had a survival game where I was an hour ahead of my buddy and I had to defend both his armies and mone

The Tau kept feeding Ethereals to the Tyrannids. No wonder the Tyrannid players worked so well together! Shame the Tau were down a player from the start.

Yes, the Tau are unfathomably naive.
Their efforts to explain the merits of the Greater Good to the Green Skins went about as well as you would expect.
One moment above all exemplifies how poorly the Tau understand what kind of universe they are in.

What an epic match! almost like a movie. One of the best games in the channel imo
This being a 2 v 3 kinda took away the tension, since it was skewed to the tyranids from the start. That being said it was an epic game, would like to see this done again but more fairly.
Well one of the nids players just played it for the first time and the other wanst as experienced in pvp as the rest, over all I think it was more balanced than alot of people would think

I think in the lore Tyranids are one of the few forbidden foods for Kroot, along with anything Chaos related.
They cant eat chaos stuff because it goes poof once killed
One of the Ciaphas Cain novels mention that a Kroot immediately regurgitated some Genestealer meat, so yeah, they won't eat the stuff.
Yeah that was the first book. Called it tainted or infected genes. Kroot shapers refuse to let their brethren eat mid meat in general. So I’m guessing there is a story there
You are incorrect about the Tyranid economy options in Unification. Those reclamation pools have a limit, it's just dynamic. Every spore chimney they have allows three reclamation pools. The pools only cost influence which grows and has a cap based on the spore chimney amount as well. This limits them slightly in the early game, but allows them to quickly steamroll, but they can't steamroll well if hemmed into a small space with few spore chimneys. They must spread to stay in the game.

In my 'How to play DoW in 2023' video I show you some mods and applications that let you download a bunch of maps with ease. Also a ton of links into varying discords that can help you with installation should you need it :) Hope this helps.
